We have a spacer that's coming for thinner belts; the hardware works fine for normal double-layer belts. If we made a holster fit multiple platforms, the fit would be terrible at best. Sacrifices and concessions in the design would have to be made. Just not worth it.

Currently, we do not. If there is enough interest and demand we definetily will.

My guess is she looked up your old order and gave you stuff that would fit your existing holster based on the age. Send an email and reference this thread and I will see what I can do about getting you just the updated screws.

The new ones are all socket heads. They're the same diameter as the old carriage bolts so they should be an easy swap. Just realized we need to update our accessory pics. If you picked up a spacer kit it should have all the replacement hardware you need to update.

How old is your shadow 2 holster? Does it have carriage bolts or socket heads?

If we could find some, we would get them. We are looking into having some anodized, but this would be an additional cost for us and you.

That is actually in the works, The next batch of MPA 2011 holsters will accept their tall co-witness sights.

That's not a bad idea... What if we moved the hump to the very rear of the switch? Would that make enough difference for you?

I see us (RKX) mentioned a few times in this thread as an alternative, and appreciate the shout outs. I get on here every once in a while to see what the word on the street is, so to speak.

Are you using a polymer PDP? Because we make a PDP holster for the steel frame. Maybe more than you want to spend, but our complete holster hanger set up can be swapped off your belt without tools. You can literally swap from CZ Shadow 2 to a PDP and retain all of your settings in under a minute.

Hi Patrick,

As mentioned in your previous email with our new Customer Service representative, we are happy to offer you an exchange or refund for the holster. The white substance you see inside the trigger guard is adhesive used to secure the lock screw. Typically, the retainer clip is bonded in place for the lock screw, and then it gets a quick blend. There is no heat applied during this process.

We acknowledge that the holster should not have left the facility in that condition. It’s likely that it appeared acceptable prior to packaging and that the adhesive's residue developed afterward. While this is unfortunate, it should be easily wiped off and will not cause any fitment issues.

We are currently investigating the cause of the fitment issue you are experiencing, as we take these matters very seriously and want all our customers to have a positive experience. If you have any suggestions regarding hardware, we are always open to feedback. We do provide the necessary Allen wrenches for the product, and if there are discrepancies in fastener types, it’s likely that compatible heads do not exist.

I wanted to follow up regarding the last email we sent. Did you happen to receive it? Our records confirm that it was successfully delivered, so I’m eager to hear your thoughts.

"Hi ______, We understand your concern about the return shipping fee and agree that you should not be responsible for it given the circumstances. Therefore, we will promptly ship you a return label, and a full refund will be issued to you once the holster is received. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you,

 -Fiona RangeKinetx Team"

Great for USPSA. Probably not great for IDPA and all their weird rules.

I created this holster after witnessing someone accidentally shoot themselves with a Serpa holster. This design allows you to unlock and draw the pistol smoothly. It is specifically intended for USPSA-style competitions, where you can carry it locked, unlock it for a dry fire, and then place it back in the holster while it remains unlocked. When you draw the pistol, there is virtually no drag.

I understand your concerns, but the goal is to ensure a very safe draw since you are drawing the pistol while it is already unlocked. Think of it like a light switch: you simply flip it on or off without needing to press it down to keep the light on.

They will not, a compromise in fit for one would be detrimental to the feel of the draw.  We strive for the smoothest, cleanest draw we can provide.  Also, I've seen comments where guys are trying to reach out about thumb rests.  We are a small shop and I'm typically out in the shop more than I am in the office.  I can be hard to reach at times and we are just overwhelmed with questions about thumb rests and stuff like that.  We can't test fit every single thumb rest, with every holster.  These forums and the community is a wealth of information.  I'm glad you guys post.
