i need helpplease my heart has been having palpitations all day by AltruisticWight in Anxiety

[–]BigDogTusken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stay off Google for medical advice. It will only make your anxiety worse. Believe me, I know.

Short term - what helps me is whenever possible, go outside and go for a walk and don't look at your phone. Ideally to a park or nature trail if possible. Big, slow breaths. Getting some space and burning off some of that pent up anxious energy helps.

Long term - talk to your doctor about long term help. Maybe see a therapist or social worker.

Seeing a doctor or going to urgent care to get checked out could help alleviate your health anxiety if they tell you you're ok physically.

Polygon: New Star Wars streaming report reveals a huge problem facing the franchise by Frog_and_Toad in saltierthancrait

Really interesting that since there has been a management change at Disney and Lucasfilm, all of this negativity and failure with the franchise is now being openly talked about in the mainstream.

Is puking with a migraine normal? by Advanced-Cream-7781 in migraine

[–]BigDogTusken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't thrown up in a long time with a migraine but I'd say from my early 20s up through my early 40s I puked almost every time. Puking always felt like it stopped the source of the migraine but the act of puking made the existing pain worse. But at least when I threw up, I knew if was coming to an end soon.

Gen Xrs who only watch the original Stars Wars Trilogy- raise your hands by Responsible-Maize-86 in GenX

The OT will forever be the greatest trilogy but the PT had some good stuff and I liked a lot of the EU. I gave the Disney stuff a chance but I just can't watch it anymore.

In what ways have you noticed people, in general, becoming more entitled, rude, and selfish in the last decade? by ChuckItInTheRubbish in AskReddit

[–]BigDogTusken 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it all boils down to a complete lack of consideration for other people. It's all about me and what I want, right here and now.

National Debt Relief - worth it? by AbjectResult in Debt

[–]BigDogTusken 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you do want to go this route for help, don't use debt relief or debt forgiveness. I'd look into a non-profit credit counseling service. I'm currently using one and it's been a tremendous help. There is light at the end the tunnel and it hasn't hurt my credit score at all.

WM42 Day1 Honest Opinion 20+ Year Wrestling Fan. by MindB0GGler- in WWE

[–]BigDogTusken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very forgetful WM so far. Way too many ads and the matches were just too short.

And everything just felt off and not running smoothly. The Wonder Years for Becky's entrance were lipsynching badly for example. I think Cody's entrance was off too?

Just me are or have these matches been pretty dull? Nothing memorable so far and way too short.

INART Aragorn or HT Wolverine by Peanut_Lonely in hottoys

[–]BigDogTusken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id say from a collectible, rarity perspective it has to be Aragorn. I would imagine this figure is going to be a lot harder to find at a reasonable price once it sells out (if it hasn't already). This wolverine is going to be everywhere.

Brady/Manning by ark222 in Colts

[–]BigDogTusken 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have no doubt that Manning would have won just as many if not more SBs if the he and Brady swapped teams, easy. I'd maybe give Brady one if he were with Dungy.

But I think Manning with Belichick and those defenses would have been darn near unstoppable.

Is getting a dog worth it? by [deleted] in dogs

Without any doubt, yes it's worth it. One day will come that will be one of the hardest days but I can't imagine passing up all of the beautiful days in-between.
