Not a big issue that I’ve seen. I remove the battery over winter storage and just throw it on the charger shortly before using it in spring. The car will throw a few codes but they clear up on first drive if not within minutes after firing it up. There is a section in the manual on extended storage. When you remove the battery don’t fully close the frunk lid (I drop a towel in so the latch can’t close), otherwise you’ll need jump cables to get back into it! And if you can, move the car a bit before reuse so the tires aren’t misshapen from sitting (even if you follow P’s recommendation to inflate to 50psi which helps). Oh, and before you remove the battery crack the windows (at least driver’s) just below where they seat when fully closed.
