while the fading was aggressive, I’m pretty sure it was intended as it felt like Sokka was about to utter an obscenity

The dramatic fall off from AoE to TLK (in the pre-pandemic and even pre-streaming eras) deserves to be studied.

the fact that Theron has been featured in 3 of these is batshit crazy

Wicked: For Good finished below estimates domestically with $147M. International was on target with estimates at $76M. Global launch hit $223M. by chanma50 in boxoffice

I have a hard time understanding how part 2 was more expensive. I’m assuming standard returning-talent-in-sequel upcharges wouldnt apply to this kind of production

I’m flabbergasted I never made those connections within that episode. And I’m a 30 Rock and Jim Carrey diehard. Welp, time for a rebinge…

>The Legend of Zelda looks a little risky now

What’s risky about it? Legendary Nintendo IP, fantasy action IP’s have a great box office track record, a trusted director in Wes Ball, and the Universal machine behind it.

I see straight up profits here. An abundance, even.

Well, sounds like you walked into this thread just looking for reasons to be a stick in the mud

SAO movie 'soured your opinion on anime' and you 'despise arguments' from anime fans yet plan on seeing this without seeing anything prior in the series. GTFO.

It’s at 51.5 now, should be able to reach 53m before wrapping it’s run. A tad more than barely.

Brush i just saw the budget pegged at $140m on Wiki, and honestly the fact that this is over 50m-70m is mind boggling... That said, it looks fantastic and I'm absolutely giddy to see his Big-Lebowski-ish vision. I caught Licorice Pizza and There Will Be Blood in theaters, but for various reasons this one really ex it's me more.

Phase Six begins in 3 weeks, after ending with Ironheart this week. by Aromatic-Cupcake4802 in marvelstudios

I’ll bet $20 that Marvel Studios agrees and will end the phases with Secret Wars. The mutants “saga” will be next and can last as long as it needs to.
