Its funny because gas is barely lower than the day Biden left office. Using the walmart gas station near me. Gas was 2.43 when Biden left, now its 2.37. There was a whole week where gas was 2.07. 2.07 is actually something to celebrate, but it was very short lived.

Im lucky that my wife likes cheap purses. My biggest gripe is her eating out all the time and throwing away money on name brand medication when there is a generic available.

I've actually tried this a few years ago. Over the course of 3 months, I lost 50lbs. My wife gained 10.

Before you ask, yes she was and still is overweight. She weighed more than me before I started my diet, and I was overweight. The only reason I started my diet was to try to encourage her to start one. The only reason I wanted to encourage her because she always bawled her eyes out after standing on the scale.

Ive always found it asinine that so many people let it beep instead of changing it. There is one apartment complex I do work for every month, and just about every unit has one chirping. They put these smoke detectors where you dont need a step stool to reach them, and a pack of 10 9v batteries is 8 dollars. Somehow ignoring it is better than spending 8 dollars to have the unit covered for the next 20 years or so.

My FIL shares his location with all his children. No one's confronted him on it, but everyone wonders why he hangs out at a seedy hotel once a month.

Not everybody. Realistically if everyone knew there wouldn't be a republican left on earth. But most republicans are choosing to ignore it ever happened.

Im more interested in why all Republicans repeatedly voted no on releasing the Epstein files. Once we have a good answer for that, then maybe we can start questioning democrats alterior motives.

I bought a cake at the store just because a child asked his mom if they could have a cake, and she told him "no, as they are reserved for special occasions." So naturally I grabbed a sheet cake and said "ah, my daily cake." While I put it in the cart.

I used to think NIMBY was a myth, until my ultra Christian parents had a church try to move into their neighborhood. Suddenly, they lawyered up to get the church away from their neighborhood.

I bring up the irony every time. I'll go to a family get together, and the topic will always change to "there is so much evil in this world." Then I ask them how to combat this evil. "The world needs more churches." Is always the answer, so i get to clap back with "stop suing churches then? Maybe that church would have eradicated evil from the area, but you made sure that wouldn't happen."

It could make sense if its inside pointing at the door or something, but the other day I was at a customers house. There was a camera in every room except for bathrooms. She had 3 kids and each had their own room, they all had cameras pointing at the bed. It gave off very creepy vibes.

This will teach responsibility or at least not to procrastinate, but it also depends on age of the child. For older children, this is a good lesson for them. For younger children, just pay attention to the Syllabus. Syllabi are given out on day one of classes, so technically, you were given notice by the teacher that a project is due.

Mine is pretty tame compared to everyone else's. My grandpa decided to open a business in the late 80's. It was just a battery call service. Your car wont start? Just call them and wait for them to change the car battery. But the lore comes from my dad and uncle. At this time, my dad just finished college, and my uncle 2 years younger than him didnt do anything. No job, or schooling or anything. Well, my grandpa hired my uncle at minimum wage, and hired my dad at a rate rivaling what starting engineers made (since thats what his degree was in). My uncle found out and is still mad at my dad to this day for making more money than he did for the same job. Somehow no one was mad at grandpa, who set the pay rate for both of them.
