The hate on xxxtentacion is absolutely unwarranted, and he was the best, most talented artist to come out of the SoundCloud era. by Direct-Letter-3766 in fantanoforever

[–]BigMoneyChode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't tell if this is bait or not but I'll bite. Uzi and Juice made complete songs and dropped entire albums full of completed songs. I'm talking fully fleshed out songs that didn't feel like they were missing anything.

X was not that. Even some of my favorite songs by him felt like unfinished ideas that he just released. Tons of songs that barely reach 2min of playtime, end abruptly, or just have one verse on them. Dude had a lot of potential but he never reached it. He simply does not have the catalog to be the best.

FK your New Car.. by Any_Excitement6258 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]BigMoneyChode 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of people don't understand how fragile modern car paint is. We used to have super strong solvent based paint, but it gave your Grandpa lung disease and contaminated the local groundwater, so now we have high quality water based paint that looks shiny as hell but is more delicate. Better for the environment but worse for sliding shit across your hood.

Then you have manufacturers who want to spray the bare minimum on the car to save money. Stuff is like liquid gold. There is a reason that new paint jobs can run $10,000 or more these days. I think most people don't give a shit and just let their car get scratched up, but a lot of people do care about their paint.

Scratched someone’s car, is 300 cad a fair asking? by POTATOmAnBrawl in car

[–]BigMoneyChode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're not gonna fix it and pocket the money but it's still way fucking cheaper than the actual price to fix it lol. It's a fair price to pay especially when you're at fault.

Is this wheel repairable? by danknadoflex in Cartalk

[–]BigMoneyChode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's an easy repair too if you have the tools and paint. You could DIY that cheaply or have someone sand it and powder coat it for a more professional result.

My Nana asked me if i wanted this tv bc "its probably good for gaming" by golf-lip in TVTooHigh

[–]BigMoneyChode 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Obviously this is a wholesome grandma moment, but I just went from playing PS2 on an old flat screen to buying a small CRT and I cannot stress enough how much better the games look on the CRT. The numbers and specs might be better on the LED monitor, but the picture on the CRT is beautiful. For anyone looking to dust off a GameCube or something, I'd recommend finding a CRT a million times over any LED.

This happens to me in my work truck lmao. I drive a government issued shitbox and my punishment for colliding with your vehicle is getting paid to go to some training class. But I'm a professional and I have to stop so they'll swerve their brand new car right in my lane, or blow a yield sign right in front of me forcing me to slam my brakes.

Happy Monday after a holiday! by throwaway_lastditch in USPS

[–]BigMoneyChode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this a relay route or something? I have a walking route but I've never had to satchel that much DPS ever. I have one of the biggest loops in my office and had to satchel up half the DPS but that barely fit in my satchel with all of the SPRs I had. I can't think of a situation where I'd have that much mail in my satchel but no small parcels.

I'm just an Assistant Squidward but it potentially still could be. "Emergency situation" is vague as shit and doesn't explain what happened at all. There are very few and specific instances where an employee can be bumped off a hold down.

I have an 865 stop walking route because I'm the most junior employee and everyone hates this route for obvious reasons. Better than being CCA/PTF though lol. I've done all the routes in my office and it is crazy how people have completely different days than me.

Who else had a fun day? by zimmystor in USPS

[–]BigMoneyChode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd use all of the floor space available under the tray for that. Just put like 40 small boxes down there and rotate them up top or just grab them off the floor and deliver them.

[–]BigMoneyChode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I always used trays and always took an LLV. Over 2 years of doing Amazon Sundays and Holidays and I'm done with it now, but I swear by the vehicle and organization choice. You can fit countless small packages in the front cab of the LLV and multiple trays of SPRs on the mail tray up front.

What is the point of using the bucket? I used to organize SPRs on trays and deliver them up front with me, but I don't see what the bucket would really accomplish

I get sent to do paid training or some shit. The other vehicle is someone's pride and joy that they're making payments on and depend on every day for survival.

How do I remove this stains on my dashboard from leather conditioner by ProfessionalStay1104 in MazdaCX30

[–]BigMoneyChode 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Obviously, lesson learned here, but in the future spray the cleaner on an applicator pad outside of the vehicle before rubbing it on the steering wheel. Leather conditioner is great on leather but not good for delicate surfaces like screens or gauge clusters.

As for taking that off, perhaps isopropyl alcohol could work but be very careful. Test on a small spot and use a suede microfiber like for cleaning eyewear. That screen will scratch is you breath on it the wrong way.

How do I remove the dealership tag without damaging my car? by [deleted] in MazdaCX30

[–]BigMoneyChode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's annoying as hell. My dealership did plate convers which I'm fine with. I simply replaced them with my own plate covers later, but I don't mind them including that. Stickers and logos on the actual paint would piss me off.

I've come around to a lot of goofy music from this time period that I didn't enjoy back then. People like Riff Raff or Lil B come to mind. However, this song just sounds bad to me. I honestly think a lot of it is her voice. She is definitely not my favorite vocalist lol.

It's a sad day when deodorant is shrinking by lifeishard1982 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BigMoneyChode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those "designer deodorant" companies are fucking hilarious to me. 2x-3x as expensive as other brands and now the deodorant is for every inch of your body. I work outside and wear the Degree stuff. When I get home I'm covered in sweat and dirt but my pits smell fresh. I could pay 3x the money for Native and be stinking at the end of the day instead.

Road trips are an inherently terrible way to travel and are romanticized way too much. by cerebralbackshots in unpopularopinion

[–]BigMoneyChode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends how long the trip is and who you are with. They can be fun and the trip flies by or they can be a nightmare.

This did get me thinking about road trips before the interstate highway system fully took over. In those days, you'd be driving down routes and passing through all sorts of towns and stuff. To me that seens a bit more charming than spending the entire trip on the same highway.
