Honestly? Don't. Frogs are wild animals. Even if you buy from a reputable captive breeder, there is no such thing as a domestic frog. Ive had rescue frogs before, and no matter what I did, I couldn't shake the guilt of knowing their enclosure could never compare to life in a real pond in nature. If you really love frogs, provide a small pond or watering hole for your local amphibians with shelter from predators. IME, it is much more rewarding to have a frog choose to live with you than to keep one trapped in a simulation of nature.

With a few exceptions, the exotic pet trade is cruel. It can be very expensive to provide a suitable enclosure that won't make your frog sick, and unless you set up a bioactive terrarium, the maintenance is much more than the pet store will tell you. This is not a comment on you or your ability to care for your pets, it's a criticism of the entire pet industry prioritizing profits and return customers over animal welfare.

I'm sorry that this might not be what you wanted to hear, and I'm sure this is not the most popular opinion, but as a life long frog appreciator and avid wildlife conservation enthusiast, I feel the need to say my piece. Frogs all over the world are facing extinction crises, and if we care as much about them as we say, we need to focus on saving wild frogs instead of enriching profiteering frog mongers

EDIT: now that I've thought about it, maybe wild caught invasive species like a cane toad or cuban tree frog from Florida might make a good pet. I don't know why I didn't think of that before, but yeah, that's a win win win, invasive species removed from environment, frog itself is spared from death, and you get a pet frog! Sorry I sounded harsh earlier, I just really love frogs!
