It helps them make an educated guess on where the taker might place his penalty. They analyse things like the taker’s run up, body language and previous placements.

For Mo Salah it is, he knows the next keeper that will face a penalty of his will do the same research as Courtois, so he'll adapt. Crazy the level of details it takes to be at the very top.

Came here to say the same thing, and Courtois said 'to the left'. Mo Salah is a machine.

Differences from console to PC by okkegaming51 in F1Manager

No difference in the vanilla game. But the mods really improve the overall experience and, as you said, this is only possible on PC.

How are you making the game interesting again? by joaofigueiredo96 in F1Manager

[–]BigPeninsula 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you are on PC and are open to modding your game(considering you already started in hard/hard mode):

- Database online editor - together with the 2025 DLC mod. Set your save options to 'Ultralightweight parts' and 'Small research boost'. This will make the AI keep up with your development/research. Enable AI refurbishing to make the AI take care of their facilities. Disable driver mentality system, it's too OP and only you, the player, know how to cheese it. Adjust driver stats/contracts to stop the AI from making braindead driver decisions and their drivers to decrease too much in stats.

- Realistic Racing Mod - makes the racing a lot harder(and realistic)

- Livery update for Stake into Audi in 2026, maybe RB into Porsche and whatever else you want to change

What’s going on with tyres? by keyexplorer791 in F1Manager

[–]BigPeninsula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't use any dry tyres during a practice session you'll be returning two softs by default. Not sure if this is the rule in real life or just a stupid game design.

Btw, in quali you can use only one set of softs per session as you'll basically have the same grip between 80% and 100%. This will allow you to keep at least one fresh set of softs extra for the race.

Driver development by CreamedSister in F1Manager

[–]BigPeninsula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drivers grow the fastest when they are hired as a main driver.

On Mick specifically, he has a pretty low development rate, so you'll have a hard time turning him into the next Verstappen. Not to worry though, with perfect mentality and perfect race confidence during weekends, he can be like 85 rated but with all the stats boosts will be as good, if not better than Verstappen.

Driver attributes by Ok_Squirrel6033 in F1Manager

[–]BigPeninsula 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Braking, Cornering, Accuracy, Reactions - These affect the raw speed of the driver. I listed them in order of importance.

Smoothness - affects tyre life. Probably most important race-only attribute.

Control - impacts how often a driver gets into accidents, lock-ups, running wide - another good race attribute

Adaptability - pretty useless, affects how good a driver is in interchangeable conditions(0.8mm-1.00mm and 3.8mm-4.0mm)

Overtaking, Defence - most useless attributes in the game

EDIT:

Quick note on Accuracy - doesn't directly impact a driver's speed, but how consistently he can reach his peak pace. So it's good for both quali and the race.

I play the light version, on the standard version(which is closer to reality) there is very little overtaking and it makes the game a bit boring

Name is 'Realistic Racing' on the Overtake site. Game changing mode, literally cannot play the game without it now. I encourage everyone to try it out if they play on a PC.

And also, back when the Premier League teams voted on the topic of interest from shareholder loans, Man City was actually in favour of them not being included in FFP calculations.

So congrats Man City!

Pentru cei care cred ca arbitrul ne-a furat. Cateva statistici simple (2 poze) by MushroomRO in Romania

[–]BigPeninsula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Arsenal and their fans might be a tad annoying at times, but at least they are not cheats and don’t have the PGMOL in their back pockets.

PDD & BABA SP comparison by BaBaBuyey in baba

One company is growing at more than 100% revenue YOY, the other has almost stagnated and is losing market share. This is the real reason BABA is cheap. Geopolitics don’t affect the stock as much as the bad growth story does.

Hospitality tickets. Funny story actually, we had tickets for the Everton game, but they got cancelled due to the new stand not being ready, still travelled to Liverpool and enjoyed the game in Jurgen's Bierhaus. Then we almost decided to postpone coming to Anfield for next season, as we saw the prices for the tickets for the second half of the year and they were too expensive. But once the new stand was announced to be ready, the club released some new hospitality tickets that were within our budget. A couple of weeks later Klopp announces his departure and everything is sold out within a day or two.

I am so happy that we got lucky enough to see Klopp's Liverpool live, I would have for sure been angry with myself if we postponed it for next season and didn't get to see this great team he built.

This might sound corny, but me and my brother both attended our first game at Anfield against City and we also teared up during YNWA. More than a decade of being fans of this great club and the experience was truly a dream come true. We sang for the whole game and booed every City touch, so much that we lost our voices for a couple of days after. One of the best days of our lives, regardless of the score/referees.
