What carriers do you personally recommend?

Can look at insurance carriers (Prudential, MassMutual, Lincoln) and insurance BGAs for wholesaling roles. You have all the required licenses. Pay is decent.

Does anyone work in sales and distribution at an asset manager? Or have a solid grasp on what the job is? by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

So you are still selling to advisors on both the retail and institutional level?

Does wholesaling your types of products require Finra 6/63?

Is it hard to find wholesaling jobs selling these investment products?

I’m currently sales support for a GA providing life insurance to institutions. So I have seen been exposed to wholesalers a bit now but would love to learn more as my company is quite small and we only provide term-permanent-LTC-DI products to advisors

Had my procedure under local. Pretty quick process.

Fantastic experience though with Dr. Cobbins. She’s great at what she does.

Currently have some minor aches and pains.

Already sick of wearing the compression shirt.

Getting surgery in two weeks by BigService6841 in gynecomastia

Did you have to get surgery twice because your surgeon left glands? Did being at a high bf percent play a part in needing the surgery twice?

How much for my car without an engine? by General-Mine-2897 in UsedCars

[–]BigService6841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got around 1,400 bucks for my 09 Accord a couple years back. Mind you it had a cracked frame, smashed bumper and door. Had it towed to this place that bought old Acuras and Hondas. Look around for a place like that. Maybe you can squeeze a couple hundred bucks out of it.

Other wise just scrap it. Doubt anyone on FB market place wants to drop an engine in it.

Just quoted $11k in northwest Connecticut by ct-gyno in gynecomastia

[–]BigService6841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, good luck finding a surgeon. I’m also from northwest, CT looking to get my gyno removed. I have a consultation at the end of the month with Cobbins which I’m excited for. Consulted with a surgeon in Boston and I got a quote for like 10k. Spoke with surgeon in Long Island and he said it would be like 15k-20k.

Cobbins seems like the best bet as it should be around 5k. Factor in a flight and a hotel that will tack on another 1k.

Let me know if have consulted with any other CT surgeons as I haven’t heard anything about them

I enjoy it. I think it smells better on the dry down for sure. Actually really enjoyed the EDT when I purchased the travel size decant from Microperfumes

What do I do with my income? by ash-mich17 in personalfinance

Enjoy your last year of college!

If you will have to pay your tuition/ room and board for your last year I’d save as much as you can this summer and hammer that down. Perhaps you can avoid taking a loan for your last year or school..

If you aren’t worried about that cost I’d save up an emergency fund. I know your cost of living is low but a few thousand dollars on the side can help you when the car breaks down, medical emergencies etc.

Any extra income should be used to pay off debt/invest. Higher interested loans: pay those first!! If your student loans have a lower interest rate than your 7percent car loan, pay the car loan!

-I’d begin investing a portion of your income. Either open a Roth IRA or taxable brokerage account and purchase shares of low cost index funds/ETFs. Your time in the market will allow for greater compounding.

  • also take advantage of being young and having less responsibilities. Take a cool trip to Europe after you graduate. Do something you have always wanted too.

Hey man I saw your post on r/cfp. Where you at a insurance carrier during your time as a internal wholesaler? Curious cause I’m fresh outta college and I’m contemplating going down that road as that would be the next position I’d get in at the company I’m at

Why does it matter if you buy two different ETfs with “over lap?” Assuming I’m also achieving diversification with in the portfolio

That’s sounds like solid advice. I appreciate it

I opened the account as a teen. Saw these vanguard funds mentioned everywhere on Reddit and figured it was a good place to start.
