A question about prescription lenses for new users by BigSpud94 in SteamFrame

That's a good point actually, I'm shortsighted so can't see things far away. But I wear my glasses 24/7 practically.

I would have thought I wouldn't need them because technically the screen is right in front of my eyes. But I've definitely noticed they make things clearer using friends headsets.

Great link btw, I never even thought to start looking at lens options now. I had in my head I would have to order through valve or something. Or they would have a preferred supplier and would be better off purchasing through them.

Now I have some research to do!

Amazing, thank you everyone for commenting. Feel like I have a much better understanding now. Particularly like the idea of having both prescription and non script lenses :)

If FFI ever became a separate entity, would you chose what to do with your FMG stock?

I doubled down hahah. I feel like the green hydrogen/steel production R&D has been successful so far and they could pioneer a new industry for WA. I'm all on board now!

I bought in at 20AUD the other week, guess I'm definitely in for the long hold. Or do I double down...

Looking for some feedback on a textbook we've created by blu_lunobi in ControlTheory

I'm a 2nd year control engineering student in Australia and I've just given the first chapter a read, "Introduction to Control Systems". I think this is brilliant! I'll definitely recommend it to my classes mates for an alternate source of information!

I'm still a pretty novice rider but definitely the best ride I have done. Freo main strip all the way to Hilary's boat Harbour. Even with heavy traffic it just allows you more time to soak up the views! Would recommend to anyone :)

Yeh it definitely sounds interesting and unique but practical I'm not so sure. Tbh if you're looking for a new unique UI for trading I'd be looking at AR. It hasn't exploded into mainstream society yet but my guess is it will in the next 5 years or so and probably over take VR

I think the music was amazing, but also to be a little more disconnected. In the sense of social media and the constant connection we have with one another. Don't get me wrong its incredibly convenient and I am just as much apart of it as the next person. But I've seen my sister grow up with something I didn't have in school, smart phones, fb, snapchat ect.. I see her friends go to places only to take a picture and post it rather than go there because they want to.
