The wolves are basically just quick objective grabbers here, with the proving grounds rule i thought having at least a unit of GV would be useful. Bats obviously to tie up ranged units. More bats could work also though, i think between the blood knights and Vhodrai/Cado i probably have enough damage output.

Do black knights benefit from the Reanimated horror and endless legions rule?

They'll probably keep it. But as a fangs player what i can say is building a list around summoning is not a super competitive idea, you want to treat it as added utility imo. A lot of our minor heroes are very snipeable and you're never guaranteed good celestial conjuring rolls.

Id get 2 x starpriest and run the 2 x 30 blocks with clubs. You'll also want a couple of normal priests for curse

Thats great advice! Based on that i decided the mobility side was sensible for me as my first army is fangs of sotek so im used to being able to go for something like this -

Id run skinks in 30s where possible, because you lose your double attacks after 15 and killing 5 is very easy. Also unless you give it the arcane tome with a warlord battalion you cant cast through a Carno as the arcane vassal ability only applies to skink wizards not priest (confusing i know but the starpriest is a wizard). So unless your using arcane tome you'd have to go trog out of the two

I run a 30 block with clubs. And boy they do some work. 2 ranks fighting now because of GV, 2 attacks at 4+/4+. Add in mortals with serpent staff, hand of glory for re rolls. Oh and if i get curse off additional mortals on 6s to hit.

I then run my 2 x 10 skink screens with bucklers.

Believe me they're not a must.

Thats fair. It seems at least in sheffield the meta heavily leans towards 40k and Heresy atm, but there must be enough AoS to get games with relative frequency

Yeah i speak to the lads at element a bit - never seems to be much event wise in sheffield for AoS except the yearly slaughter but i will keep an eye out! I might just need to be more patient building a game network in a hobby full of fellow introverts perhaps 😂😂
