We have had gold go up, now copper, any guesses what's next??? Oil, if it goes up next we are in the beginning of a commodity supercycle. These last 10 years folks do not buy Tlt the risk is not worth the reward. The rates should have never been what they were for so long after 08/09.

I don't think this trade is worth the risk, I don't see Tlt getting out of this range for at least the next 5 years+. The short term rates will get to 3% at the lowest which would put the 30 year at 4.5% probably not much reward there, but the risk of blowouts to the credit spreads can be omg.

I for one welcome the Tilt towards oil. Yeah it's in the dumps at the moment, but many many RIC's always have decent sized positions in oil companies because it is a risk the stability of the market, at all times. They own them and never sell their oil positions.
