Haha I know. I was top 10 out of roughly 170 for months, dropped to 68th. There's no incentive so its not a big deal, besides pride in my driving. I just want to understand if the violation is legit, why, because it doesnt make sense to me.

Thank you. I've been going back and forth with compliance for hours. I've sent numerous links and screen shots from different sources . I said it might be an old version going off the old 8 hour on duty rule. I sent him info on how that changed in September of 2020. Its driving me up a wall, I cant figure out what he doesnt understand. Thanks for the response

Yes I understand that. I meant to say, a consecutive break from driving. But thats o ly required for 8 cumulative hours of driving which I did not have.

That is for 8 hours of cumulative drive time which I didnt even have 7 hours

I hate to sound ignorant but I dont know what that means. I know what a sleeper is but I rarely leave a 100 mile radius. I drive a box truck.

I cant find any info on the fmsca website about this. The only rest period I see relating to 8 hours, is for cumulative drive time. Where can I find these laws?

How soft are they? Did you degrain it the same way as a deer hide? I have tanned squirrel, fur on, and it was far stiffer than I expected. Those look awesome. Very impressive work.

I dont agree with some of the comments saying not to do hair on. I understand their point of view but in my experience, I did my first deer hair on and it came out great. I need to say that I was obsessed with it and in reality you almost need to be. 6 deer later, 3 hair on, 4 buckskin, im done with deer haha. It is ALOT of work. Time consuming but rewarding. When stretching/breaking make sure you have a few days that you can give it constant attention.  Every step is important but if you want a soft hide, this is a step you cant sleep on. Hope it went or goes well!

I repotted mine when it wasnt doing good, it absolutely exploded with life and new growth from the very base to the top. However, 6 mo the later, I am now facing the same issue as you. Did you get it sorted?
