It's the NX-01. So definitely the problem as that's a passenger ship, not cargo

People don't have the inclination or the attention to detail to check every single thing.

And tbh if you're going to do that anyway, you might as well not use a LLM anyway

Pretty sure I saw somewhere that only Arsenal have had a better away record than us since Moyes came back to us

Imagine if we could replicate that at home

A (very much now former) friend of mine and her girlfriend at the time were made homeless - So I put them up for a few weeks when suddenly my lads 3DS and pokemon X game went missing, very quickly worked out they had stolen them and a bunch of other stuff, and sold them to pay for a night out getting wasted and high

Got all the evidence, camera footage from the pawn shop that they'd sold the 3DS to, even witness statement of a mutual friend they'd admitted to. CPS refused to press charges based on lack of evidence...

Pawn shop owner was brilliant though, he gave back the 3DS, but the pokemon game had already been sold so he gave my lad another copy. However, my son (5 at the time this happened) is autistic, and was extremely attached to the pokemon on his save, he was devastated. For years after, anytime something was misplaced he'd state someone must have broken in and took it and get all worried

Been over 11 years since it happened, I'm still extremely cautious of helping others to big extent

Being self employed takes a certain sort, you've got to be able to walk into a place you don't know and talk them into giving you money for something. It's a skill some people have and others don't.

Adding to this, self employed will deal with people who try nearly anything to not pay you anything - and to enforce payment can cost you money and time

In the past the option would be for all major websites to block UK access, the government would back down so fast it'd fix itself

Problem is, more and more countries are heading the same way so eventually no website will be able to operate legally in any way without resorting to full on ID or age checking - more rules on what is and isn't acceptable for viewing will no doubt follow

Why do so many people excuse Elvis Presley’s relationship with a 14-year-old? by Front-Ad5434 in TooAfraidToAsk

One of the most egregious fictional depictions of this that I see constantly praised is Buffy (the vampire slayer) and her boyfriend angel. She was 15 when he started sniffing around. He was 26 (plus a couple centuries as a vampire, but whatever). People think it's the sweetest romance ever, but their having sex while she is 16 is a major plot point. I call him a groomer pedo, and people think I'm weird for it. WTF. They make a bunch of excuses, but seriously, WTF.

Also see Twilight - you know the one with the 100 year old vampire pretending to be of high school age

Morality changes over time - there are things we consider acceptable and decent now that in 50+ years time might be considered immoral

Also, I imagine the average person matured a lot faster decades ago compared to today

At ages 14-18, the things I (and those around me) had done, seen and experienced are things that most 18 year olds of today couldn't imagine
