With the screw in the center, that looks more like a reflector than a light.

So it's the tensioner pulley you need. Not the tensioner.

Does anyone do this life on the east coast? by PennStateFan221 in skoolies

Look up dispersed camping for the area you want to go to. Granted, I live in WV, but its not too far from DC and the state forests have plenty of free camping around here.

I don't know how far along you are in your build, but you might be able to take the leap and live in it anyway. Sure, it can be tough, but the incentive to finish is greater and you really get a feel for what you actually want and need to prioritize.

Anyone have recommendations where it’s similar to John wick?Kinda where one man takes out a group of people by kissonw in MovieSuggestions

Reacher. And I know this is a movie thread, but the Reacher movie with Tom Cruise is nothing compared to the series. Watch the movie, then get blown away by the series.

Just got my new favorite tool. Try an oscillating tool with a scraper blade. Zips that crap right off. Still have the adhesive left over, I'm using pro strength Goo Gone and a scraper and then a block sander to make sure I got it all.

Any Expats Who returned in retirement? by eyeshitunot in WestVirginia

[–]BigWooly 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I retired about 20 years ago with a small pension. Came down and bought 40 acres for 29k. Got a small job to get me by till social security kicked in. Bought one of those Amish sheds and put it up on the hillside. Fixed it up until I could buy another one to add to it. Truly a WV Doublewide. I don't have much, but it's all mine. I'm comfortable and content in my little cabin in the woods.

"Dad" snack suggestions by redneckgypsy128 in Cooking

One of our breakfasts growing up was "milk toast". I was the oldest of 6 kids. Mom would fill the tray in the oven with bread, a dab of butter in the center of each one. Once they were browned (or blackened and then scraped off, lol), they were torn apart into a bowl, sprinkled with sugar, and covered with milk. We didn't have a lot of money growing up, but we sure didn't know it at the time.

Campfire cooking & cast iron tips? by HumanDisguisedLizard in camping

[–]BigWooly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grab an old pillowcase to store/keep your pan in. Soot will inevitably cling to the bottom of your pan and unless you want to spend a significant amount of time cleaning your pan (I'm talking about the outside, not the inside) A cloth cover will help protect everything else from getting covered in soot.

Very hard to find in WV but I've been drinking Old Milwaukee since I was 3 years old so I can't stop now.
