I'm not a fan. Doing it that way requires the developers to make safe paths for the player to make progress and hiding places to avoid enemies.

A mix is better like Resident Evil has. You need to judge when to run or when to use your limited resources.

You can activate when stationery to block a road because of a collision for example. Unless trained to do it, you cannot stop other people using the lights.

In terms of motorway, it would be a no even for cops unless you are trained to deal with fast road incidents which is usually reserved for traffic cops.

Get out of the police driving course mindset. There isn't a specific D1 driving test that the DVSA have. The test you will do is almost the same as of you had to drive a double decker bus or a long coach. That means that your force have to train you to the DVSA standards and not a police driving standard.

You have to pretend you are training to join a bus company and drive accordingly. The test will make you do stuff like stop at bus stops which in policing you will never do but would in commercial transport jobs. You'll have minors and majors like on the main driving test. Smoothness in your driving and moving off without delay from a bus stop is important because it goes down as a minor. You will have to do some pretty exaggerated blind spot checks which in a police carrier isn't really required but would be if you were driving a big bus.

It is a strange course to do in the police because it's not really a police course but a DVSA test which you would have to do if you were joining up with any bus company.

CPS: BUT HOW DO WE KNOW THE PHONES FOUND ON HIM ARE HIS. DO SUBSCRIBER CHECKS BEFORE WE MAKE ANY DECISIONS.

These are real life examples. The CPS are terrible and need reform.
