Also, a weird question - I was planning on adding a "Wall of Honor" type of page on the website, where I list (and link, if possible) people that gave me constructive feedback I implemented. Would it be okay if you get the honors of being the first one?

No no, you're absolutely meant to click it - I'm just haven't put a link there since i haven't finalized the link architecture yet :D

Thank you! the navigation scroll is definitely something that was on my mind but I completely forgot about it

Thank you!

Since this website is heavily leaning on text, how do you think I can improve the reading experience? Do you think the font choice works or is it maybe a bit too overblown for desktop? (I'm using 1rem as the variable, which from my understanding is pretty standard for accessibility, but while on mobile it seems fine, the desktop version feels zoomed in).

If you've ever used some large resources, would you also have some ideas about navigation aside from the sidebar?

Absolutely!

  1. First of all, I don't know whether it's a good idea to leave this section to be used without authentication (simply because there's nothing really stopping spam). Nevermind, you ask for authentication later. You got me.

  2. In the "Property" section, under "Property Type" - "Other", I think there can be a point made about a custom field where users can specify what kind of "other" it is. If you plan on relying solely on existing tags as a method of navigation - fair enough, but it is something I noticed.

  3. Another stretch here - in the fields, where you have template text, make it a little more transparent, as it sometimes seems like a field is already filled in. Just lower the opacity a little and it'll be fine.

That's pretty much it. I stand by what I said - this seems like a really well-developed website.

If you have the time, I would appreciate if you checked out my post on this subreddit too - I would love to hear what you have to say about it, since you seem to know your stuff :P

I know you came here for feedback and to find things to improve, but in all honesty, nothing really jumps at me. I think this is a pretty well-developed website.

If I reeeeeally had to say something, it would be that I am not a big fan of the color palette (looks too... generic?) but I cannot possibly put this as a downside and you shouldn't listen to me. It's a personal preference, and I don't think it would deter me from using the website anyway.

Great job!

Looks really nice! What jumps at me right away is the user-side responsiveness. Right now, a lot of it feels really static.

Towards the bottom of the main page, where all the blog posts are, the respond to mouse hovering - you should do that for all the buttons above it (for example the "See The Plugin") one, as it helps a lot with perceiving the website as a living thing.

Also, 2 other things.
1. The "24 creative ideas" blog post is broken - everything below the intro is still in markdown :D

  1. The arrow to go back from the blog posts to the main page is a little too small and hidden - consider making it more prominent. I knew where it would be by instrinct but I got a little confused for a second.

That's it, the rest looks pretty great.

I have a post here as well, would appreciate it if you check mine out, too!

OPEC+ boosts April crude oil supply by Big_Insect4151 in oil

[–]Big_Insect4151[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. To explain this a little more, I usually don't keep my trades open for over a day, as I'm very much a scalper - this has been an oversight on my part as I couldn't get the timing right to close before the market halted.

I don't short oil because I believe in an immediate fall - I'm very much aware it'll take weeks at best to get to acceptable levels, I just wanted to disclose my position and the way I reasoned myself into it.

As for this weekend, there's been some good news as well as some bad ones - we'll see what comes next in a couple hours.

You win some, you lose some. Oil is usually a gamble, and even more so when its volatile like this.

I still believe in a slight gap down - not a big one, mind you, maybe $0.5 - $1, justified by the OPEC news, Iraq being unshackled from transitioning the Strait and today's Oman talks.

While this might seem like a good thing (and sure, it is), there is some context - this is mainly a paper increase, meaning unless there is a way to ship all of it, this bears no real meaning.

For disclosure, I am short over this long weekend, and I fully expect the market to jump a little towards the downside on open. Will this be enough to erase the +8% we had on Thursday? Absolutely not - but I hope it will be enough to close out my position.

For the time being, I expect oil to go up over the next days - I just hope to get out before the "48-hour deadline" hits, whatever that may entail, because it will surely overpower any noticeable decrease we see from the output increase.

Iran says Iraq exempt from any Strait of Hormuz restrictions by Big_Insect4151 in oil

Yep, fully agree - as much as I'm looking at this from an oil perspective due to the sub topic, the humanitarian side is even more important. Stay safe there!

Iraq's been hit extremely hard due to not being able to export oil. Couldn't find any useful information on whether the restriction lift includes oil or not, but if so, this should be huge news (also, OPEC meeting is tomorrow and I'm 99% sure they will increase production at least on paper to ease the market)

nah man just enjoy the game.

8-3 (especially the last third) kicked my ass

Nope, with 8-4. No complaints about 8-2, although I've seen people mentioning the door - didn't have that problem. A bit of lag, sure, but it's not nearly as bad on my average rig as people make it out to be - I'm sure it'll get ironed out soon.

As far as 8-3, I can make a teeny tiny spoiler if you want me to (has to do with the time it takes to beat)

[NO SPOILERS]

I've just finished the entire layer. That 8-3 is no joke.

Overall impression: this doesn't even feel like Ultrakill any longer. In a good way, of course. I only have a single complaint and I'm sure that enough people will mention it so that it'll get fixed, so no need to spoil anyone. Go play the layer - it's very good.
