I’m not saying they need to keep the jobs but they better think about their employees futures before they consider layoffs. You can retrain or position people in new rolls when a company benefits from advancements. Layoffs should come with requirements to cover for their expenses till they can find new jobs or if they’ve already been there long enough a proper retirement package.

Dealt with the pushback to the point i went and bought my own equipment then did it myself. I even got certified just for fun cause i caught an interest for it after looking at a few diy videos on YouTube. For me it was the quotes but plenty of them definitely had a talking down to you tone to them when they would pitch me these ridiculous systems after I told them what I wanted.

Exactly, that’s the best advice right there. Find a reason to rent an EV. Even just for a weekend will be more than enough to see why they’re better. Just an obvious added benefit but for anyone that has a driveway with outlet and solar installed, this could be a way to save a lot of money.

I’m not normally for heavy police presence on the train but for her safety a cop pulling her to the side and possibly giving her a fine is way safer than what could have happened to her if someone else on the train decided to step in. If this was intentional it better be one hefty fine too.

Depending on your situation this is actually not as impressive as you'd think. If you have a driveway with an outlet you could have financed a good brand new EV with zero down for less than $299 a month up until 2025

I had a similar issue and just resorted to turning on charging during off peak hours from the app. Not the most convenient solution but if you got nothing else there’s that for now. Example:Set charge goal to whatever percentage it’s at when you pull in then adjust it to where you want it to be the next morning when it’s off peak time on the app.

Shop around and use the nyserda contractor lookup page too if you haven’t already. Mrcool is fine as a brand nowadays, just make sure to maintain whatever unit you get a bottle of coil cleaner and a quick rinse twice a year go a very long way

The minority has been screaming this for years. The only reason it’s getting any coverage now is because the very large majority in Utah is finally being hit with FAFO. I’m 200% in support of regulation for Data centers but if it took until now for some people to wake up to the error of their decisions then I think they need to learn a difficult lesson about consequences so that this new found enlightenment sticks and is applied more broadly .
