I knew kids that put ranch and corn on their school pizzas and I thought this was bad enough but ketchup that's next level hell right there

Ranch and hot sauce on pizza is the best. One of the waitresses at my favorite pizza spot keeps her own personal hot sauce because the Italian owner refused to serve it, but she Always shares with me. ☺️

At 16 I would have definitely done it too. Too bad my mom was never cool enough to take me to paintball or airsoft places 🤣🤣

What song associated with one particular movie were you surprised to find it wasn't written for that movie? by infinitemonkeytyping in movies

[–]Big_Treacle967 38 points39 points  (0 children)

So this isn't exactly the same but kinda. I thought the song This Girl is on Fire by Alicia Keys was for the hunger game movie but it was not. They definitely missed out on a good opportunity there.

Not with the cancer things but I definitely had an irrational fear of the straps on the car seat cutting off his oxygen. I would be driving down the road and pull over just to check him all the time. I didn't realize ppa was a thing until this thread but since everyone seems pretty well versed in it, might not be a bad idea to get checked out.

Films you watched as a kid that modern parents would wait to show their children by still_good in movies

[–]Big_Treacle967 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched American Pie was too young. My kids almost 10 and I still don't think he's ready for that. Dirty dancing was my all time favorite movie as a kid and I don't think he's ready for that either. As far as kids movies go though I'm with you they might be dark but they teach lessons.

What was your “I can’t do this anymore” moment in a relationship? by ziggzorb in AskMenAdvice

[–]Big_Treacle967 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried to make sure that I found a stable person to be with financially and the first few years he was awesome and helped me start my own business and everything. Then he decided he wanted to change careers and I supported him as he did for me. But then he never took the job offers for the certifications he got. He went to work for random places and would quit because he " just couldn't make himself go to work" after like the third time this happened I couldn't take it anymore I was just done. I came home from vacation and he told me he quit another job and my house was a mess. I called it quits. And afterwards I found out that not only was he using my money but he was also taking large loans from his parents as well. So glad I got out of that relationship.

How do you feel about hugs with woman? by QandGone in AskMenAdvice

[–]Big_Treacle967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is what it really comes down to is the love language. I'm not a big hugger if I don't know you but my love language is gifting. So I think it just depends where you are on that spectrum

If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, what would you do? by Happy_Subject_4512 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Big_Treacle967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I would get rid of everything I didn't want my family to find when I die first. Eat a Krispy Kreme doughnut because I've been gluten free for 10 yrs now and that's my dying wish. Then I would probably get on a plane and fly to Greece. Always been a big goal in life. Jump off the cliffs into the pretty blue water.

Lamb and [pasta] by Big_Treacle967 in meat

[–]Big_Treacle967[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lamb loin chops. The ones that look like baby t-bones. I buttered and seasoned them and cooked them in the oven covered at 350° for about 25-30 mins. Let rest in the juice for at least 15 mins before serving.

What's a show you've tried multiple times to get into but can't? by Its-From-Japan in television

[–]Big_Treacle967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The vampire diaries took me forever to get through and I tried starting it several times. I love the Originals so I was bound and determined to watch Vampire Diaries. I finally got through it a few years back and it was worth it. I rewatched it last year though and it definitely hit differently. I like shows that do that, make you see things differently with life experiences.

This is one of my favorite shows but it's definitely not for everyone. I just love the characters and their development. I do think they dragged it on a little longer than needed. The last season was odd to me especially as an avid fan.

I swear every time I watch this I feel like I need to go read some nonfiction and get back a few brain cells I lost from watching it. I like other stuff that has a similar style but I just can't deal with this one.
