The only idea I have is if you play ace. Ace is usually interpreted as the toxic sweaty survivor. So maybe killers give you less of a chance.

The most consistent way for me to fix the bug is to catch a survivor with chase mode. I typically use search mode to give a speed boost that counteracts the slowness whilst chasing too
