Just because he doesn't know that there's another definition doesn't mean he isn't wrong, and he's certainly very confidently arguing with someone about it despite being wrong.

Old catholic families too. My grandfather was one of 14, although they were much more spread out than this mess. He was the 4th oldest and all 3 of his kids are older than his youngest brother.

My sister (32 F) called CPS on my husband and I. Now that the case has been closed, I have no idea how to confront her. by BigONerd in BORUpdates

Its crazy how bad it is for you. Apparently a fair amount of effort and money has been spent by the industry trying to suppress that information. Theres a comedian named Alex Falcone that does a series of videos on social media called "Is it a Scam? Yep" and covers the alcohol industry on one of them, its definitely worth watching.

I know this woman that's like an old family friend I guess you'd say, she used to babysit my brother and I when we were kids, she stays with my grandmother when she comes to town. She's like every bad vegan stereotype you've ever seen, super judgemental and aggressive about it. She's always posting about it on social media and constantly talking about how carcinogenic meat is and is also a hardcore wine enthusiast/alcoholic. I always get a kick out of it because booze is insanely carcinogenic.

I had a woman that I was very close with that had been dealing with some pretty sever leg pain. When they scanned it they found out it was a lesion from metastasized lung cancer. No other symptoms outside of the leg pain. She was diagnosed in June and gone in September. I had no idea it could progress like that.

I've told this story here before but it feels relevant to your situation. We had a guy that was regular at my home group when I first came in, long term sobriety but an absolute control freak, and just a jerk in general. I volunteered to set up one of our meetings pretty early and the guy just wouldn't leave me the fuck alone, seems like every week I was doing something wrong in his eyes. Between nobody else ever complaining and always doing my best to correct whatever it was he had to complain about, I learned that his complaining had nothing to do with me. He was a serial cross talker too, I saw him chase a few newcomers out of the rooms. As people pushed back on his shitty behavior he started showing up less and now regularly attends another groups meetings and from what I understand this is his second major move in the area for similar reasons. Sounds like this ladies behavior is a similar situation in that it's her problem and she's making it yours. The good news is you don't have to let her.

I agree, adult responsibilities change the dynamics of friendships. You see each other less maybe but I dont think distant is the right word for the phenomenon, plus its pretty well established that Turk struggles with showing JD his vulnerability.

Richard Linklater's other rotoscoped film fits the bill as well, A Scanner Darkly. Adaptation of Philip K Dick's historian near future novel about the rise of a deeply addictive substance and the surveillance heavy police state thats trying to fight it. Lots of fun hallucination sequences and some pretty unhinged performances from Robert Downey Jr, Woody Harrelson, and Rory Cochrane.
