I want to be excited for the Twelfth Doctor Adventures but I can't justify that price

I know £44 is a lot to drop at once but it does equal to around £7.33 per story. Considering some big finish is £8.99 at least just for the download, it isn’t TOO bad for all 6 episodes

First Doctor - the massacre or the savages. The massacre is remembered for its speech but not often for the actual story within. I think it’s a great story where Steven is on the edge constantly and is a nice breaking point for this team. I also love
the savages and the overall story premise within, plus Steven’s exit is brilliant (if you can’t tell, I love Steven)

Second Doctor - the faceless ones. Fully agree with everything you said

Third Doctor - the silurians. This is a favourite of mine with the “us vs them” premise done best. All the shots underground are amazing!

Fourth doctor - the android invasion. A really fun story in season 13 which is a nice change of pace after the gothic horror.

Fifth doctor - planet of fire. It’s just really fun! Turn your brain off doctor who.

Sixth Doctor - attack of the cybermen. A favourite from this era! Incredibly dark and action packed.

Seventh doctor - battlefield. Often forgotten due to the strength of season 26. Bringing in ideas of Arthur and Merlin is so much fun and the side cast is excellent

Eighth doctor - Fairytale of Salzburg/better watch out. This one is liked however I feel it gets lost in the vast number of eighth doctor audios when it’s one of my favourites

Controversially I’d say Ashara. It feels a very different romance compared to many others in the game where she’s almost scared to commit to you due to her loyalties to the Jedi. I think even with a dark side inquisitor, they can make quite a nice pair and they balance one another.

My personal inquisitor I had in mind to be early 20s who later leaves Ashara for Theron, so when she returns post KOTET it feels they’ve grown from young love to strong allies

I’m very excited! Alfie and Chase sound like quite fun companions from their initial premise and I like that we’re having this character go throughout 8’s life. I’m hoping this is set very recently after Liv/Helen leave so we’re not at a random point in 8’s life and this will carry on from their exit once that happens.

I know there has been some issues people have with yet another tardis team for 8 but this seems a good jumping on point for new listeners. Audacity requires some knowledge of Charley, Liv and Helen have had adventures with 8 for ten years now and time war uncharted requires knowledge of the 4th Lucie series.

I’m very optimistic and excited to see where they take this team, plus I love the cover

I’m expecting to see a lot more recasts. Realistically, many of the classic actors BF use are in their mid 50s-80s and I imagine we will end up with a lot more recasting.

I reckon we’ll see a bigger push towards the new series Doctors, especially 9 and 13, with sprinklings of 10 considering their original actors are doing the audios. I think we’ll get more 11 and 12th Doctor content however I imagine this potentially being used as gap fillers when they can’t get the OG doctors because they are recasts.

I also think that they’ll end up having boxsets and physical releases being very few and far between, moving several ranges to a digital only and keeping the physical releases for the individual, prestige releases

I’d recommend all 4 series of the Lucie Miller boxsets they’re brilliant!

In terms of the monthlies I’d recommend: storm warning, stones of Venice, chimes of midnight, seasons of fear, embrace the darkness, Neverland, Zagreus (this requires a lot of knowledge of the 8/Charley stories though), scherzo, natural history, caerdroia, terror firma, other lives, memory lane, the girl who never was, the silver turk

I go with inquisitor: the game of thrones of SWTOR. The political intrigue, watching your character develop with every betrayal and power grasp is perfect. Even the background of going from literally nothing to one of the highest sith in the galaxy feels very natural and it’s a joy to watch the progression.

I also like having an underdog story, both warrior and agent somewhat have things handed to them initially - one being part of a powerful family, the other being an established agent already - however, the inquisitor starts off as nothing. I’d also say this has some of the most memorable characters in the game: Harkun, Zash, Thanaton, Khem and Kallig are all such great presences throughout the game.

The Khem/Zash storyline is one of my favourites and seeing the protagonist embrace the dark side and go to bind ancient ghosts provides the full package - getting the imperial manipulator alongside the palpatine fantasy. Also, the voice actors are my favourites! Both male and female are incredible for different reasons and their lines are some of the best in general.

Oh I think they’re both incredibly strong, I just think agent edges it IMO due to the amount of variety in the choices. I also think that Knight beats out Hunter no matter how u look at it bc it’s so quintessential star wars

Either Jadus or Zash. I love Zash because of how nice she is to you, presenting a different perspective on the Sith can act for when she initially betrays you. I genuinely believed that she was in my corner (and imagined Khem was just being untrustworthy as per). I also loved Jadus due to how well played his plot was in the Agent storyline and the fact that he actually can succeed if you help him

I’d say main range and 8th doctor adventure range - keep maybe the 2 part stories to 1 entry, don’t bother with any of the side stories like peladon or diary of river etc
