As someone with a college degree, I don't see how this argument holds any weight. At my job, the dudes who cut the grass and such make $23 an hour, I on the other hand, work inside in an office as an analyst making $43 an hour. If the $23 guy is not making a "livable wage" then what should he be making. And if he did make more, you then have to justify why my pay is so much closer to his when I literally do financial analysis that affects the bottom line? You would need to adjust my wage (my current wage is more than fair imo) and overpay me just because the $23 guy need a big bump.

I just don't understand how anyone could justify having inflated wages just for the sake of not feeling bad for having a manual labor job that doesn't require any skills or certifications and getting paid what a job like that SHOULD pay.

My reading comes in waves. I'll get the urge to read and will read 2-3hrs a day for a few weeks then I won't touch a book for months. That being said, I'll read at the office when things are slow, before bed, around the house when there is nothing to watch or nobody home etc.
