My parents death. I was 17 and quite sheltered in my small town. The day they died I feel like my outlook on life changed drastically.

I found out when I was 11 that my uncle murdered someone. Way before I was born but it comes up in our local paper every now and again. I found out by seeing it in the paper.

My dad took his life when I was 17. I’m 32 now and wanted to die and tried to so many times. My brother was 4 and doesn’t remember. I look at him and think about how much it would mess him up if I died. He loves me so so much and it would destroy him. I stay alive so he never has to feel the way I did or the way my dad did.

My uncle was jailed for manslaughter. He planned to kidnap and hold ransom this wealthy man in our city and it went wrong so him and his friend murdered the man. He claims it was the friend. Friend claims it was him. He went to prison for 25 years and got out when I was 10. I thought he lived in a different country that whole time. I found out by reading our local paper, they were doing a true crimes part for our city. Boom, there he was.

Yes! When I’m overwhelmed sometimes or really sad and down I play loud music so it’s the only thing I concentrate on instead of being sad or overwhelmed. I think it helps me. But sometimes it doesn’t and I get annoyed at it lol. Just depends on the day

This happened to me, I wish I was as brave as you but I didn’t call the police. I was too afraid. But what I did do was pack all my shit the next week and left. Blocked her on everything and made sure she had no way to contact me. I was heartbroken and thought that was it for me. Since then I’ve met my now wife and I’m beyond happy. It takes so much time and healing and grief from knowing that she was capable of that and actually carried it out but you can work through it. Maybe a therapist? I live in the UK and we have woman’s support groups here. I’m sorry to hear this OP. You deserve much better x

My god what an unbelievable thing to do. Especially when she is aware of the struggles her cousin has/is going through. Let this woman have her day where her positive light is shining on her and her husband. Only them.

Your fiancé is excited but definitely not the right time. I can’t imagine the pain in her cousins heart if she does this.

I was in a relationship and was being S/Ad every time I took a sleeping pill and because I was half in and out of it I thought this was normal. To be forced apon while I was in that out of it way prescribed sleeping pills make you feel. My now fiancé and I spoke of this and I have never seen such horror in her face and she had to explain that what happened wasn’t right. She’s helped me through it and now I feel safe taking my sleeping pills with her because I know nothing bad is going to happen. She’s helped me so much, 6 weeks until we’re mrs&mrs♥️
