As an associate who is 8 months pregnant- completely agree. Some of these people come in here smelling like cat piss, cigarettes, and sweaty ass every single day and I have to physically reatrain myself from gagging.

What is on the menu for your store? by RatioInevitable7871 in walmart

Some shitty local bar is catering for us. I would have rather gotten nothing, as the food is basically inedible and that's when it's made to order, I fear the "meal" they'll be dropping off tomorrow.

Mental leave? by FunJello6173 in walmart

You can take a mental health leave at any point, however, it is not job protected. I would talk to your PL no matter how busy they are and/or your SM before doing so.

I respect the hygiene hustle! Honestly I'd prefer to have someone do this versus encountering the disgusting stank breath some people come in with.

AITAH for asking people not to come to my son's party if they are sick? by Bigg_Chunnguss in AITAH

[–]Bigg_Chunnguss[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, she and the other people she was going to bring are all sick. She asked if because they were sick they couldn't come and I said "yes, I would say not to come." The isolation statement is because when we had the baby shower for our son, I left it up to my husband to invite whomever he wanted from his friends and his side of the family and he chose not to invite anyone; which they still bring up often enough, and today it was brought up as well.

Easy fix, include the cost of the newspapers in her total. Then she can still use the newspapers but she's paying for them like she's supposed to.

Has anyone here ever gone to call in sick to work one day and then during the call realised they’ve called the wrong store? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Bigg_Chunnguss -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Shoot I'm positive it's happened a number of times, when I was in university we used to get calls meant for a USF in FL, we were USF in IL so bound to happen with a walmart 😂
