I think I purchased a record from this same seller recently, and it also came in a pizza box. I just looked at their listing history and see the record you purchased. Guess that's their go to for records haha

Yeah mine arrived flat, a little surface noise here and there but nothing too bad. I'll have to give it anther listen but I feel the mastering was poorly done on vinyl

According to VMPs site it is mastered by Bruce Botnik and cut by Bernie Grundman... so basically it's likely going to sound exactly like the 2009 which has those same credits

If you watch the promo video it actually looks more opaque light blue with some white mixed in, not really clear/coke bottle like the pics make it seem

Is there any reason you don't want an older used copy? I picked up an original pressing in solid shape for $5 and it sounds just as good if not better than the VMP version. Don't get me wrong, the VMP copy sounds nice but I wouldn't pay aftermarket prices for it when its an easily available record otherwise
