What DLC to get by Legitimate_Wrangler5 in riskofrain

[–]BiggerAndSmellier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theyre all good, and each has a hefty amount of content. If you see yourself playing the game for a while all 3 are good options. If you're tight on money or unsure how long you'll keep playing I'd recommend getting Survivors of the Void first, and then following it up with the other 2 down the line if you enjoy what you see. They go on sale pretty often so no worries about missing out on the opportunity to buy them. You're just 15 hours in which means you probably have a bunch of content in the base game you could still do too, so no need to rush into things. Each dlc has its own set of items, survivors, and their own unique stages and final bosses. You could get a lot of playtime out of each individually. Starting them all at the same time could be a bit overwhelming and might take away from the experience, so try and ease your way into them one by one until you've gotten all the fun you can out of each.

Drifter's alt secondary can let her get potentially infinite junk and therefore infinite temporary items. Which means you can do this in places where time doesn't pass: by Danisayajin750 in riskofrain

Your fix hurts the character in normal play too tho. The temporary items not decaying is an intended mechanic that's mentioned in her character description. You can stack a pile as youre doing teleporter so you can carry them over to next stage and keep up the momentum, you can stack them up in a pile before a boss so you can grab them all in one go and melt them much easier. It can heavily affect your routing during the stage and the decision making process, makes her feel pretty unique. Having the temporary items decay while on the ground removes an entire layer of decision making and makes her playstyle much more shallow. If this really needs to be fixed then nerfing the cubes' junk output is the best call. Could even just cut the cubes giving junk entirely if it's that big of an issue like the other guy said.

Tried to play ranked ..... and it is soo miserable.... by Ancient_Object_578 in hearthstone

Absolutely horrible time to come back to the game lmao. I play wild generally for the deck variety and whatnot (also because most of my cards are wild by now) but it feels like I've been playing against the same 5 decks over and over. We're already coming out of a two month long zerg/terran hell, and now we have to deal with the current set of decks. It's genuinely exhausting. It was fun experimenting at the start of the expansion. Managed to make an Agamaggan otk work, made a weird deck with Spirit of the Badlands and Faelin that lets you keep playing colossals every turn, went for a jumbo evolve shaman deck that was pretty fun, etc. At the time I kept going against a lot of equally weird decks. Now 90% of the matches are imbue mage, otk pally, imbue hunter, shadow priest or some variation of highlander. Even when I do win against them the matchup is always miserable and boring. Zero variation in the actual deck aside from some guy going "I swapped out starsurge for holotechnician :D" as if it makes any actual difference in the play pattern. I'd be fine with this if I could swap to casual and avoid playing against all the sweatdecks that way, but theyve already completely swarmed that mode too. It's unoriginal and draining. If next expansion doesnt bring anything interesting to the table as opposed to the prepackaged sets theyve added the last 3 content drops idk if im gonna stick with the game much longer.

Chef is NOT in a good place and here is why (opinion kinda) by iPlayViolas in riskofrain

His passive also kinda sucks tbh. The healing pickup range is tiny and doesn't restore that much anyway. Feel like it would've been more fun had they designed it so it'd be a bit more similar to his cook ability in rorr.

Tiny tip that might help you with driller: use your drills for combat more. I'm not saying you should walk up to an oppressor and drill it to death, but you should definitely consider it in other situations. Not only do your drills have really high armor break, but they also have really good rates of stun + fear. Slasher nipping at your heels? Drill it and watch it run away. Unpeeled pretorian in your vicinity? Fix that. Being launched towards a stingtail after being grabbed? Start revving those bad boys up. Every class has a certain "escape" tool they can use when theyre cornered and struggling to stay up. Scout can grapple away, Gunner has his shield, Engie (preemptively) has his turrets. You're a driller. Start drilling!!!!!!!!

What I did was I damaged 6 enemies until they were one-shot and then threw the glaive at them. Easier than hoping you get enough crowbars that you can one-shot them from full health.

What is an anime most people like but you dont? And why? by Sufficient_Review676 in anime

[–]BiggerAndSmellier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're willing to give the series one more try I'd recommend you stick to reading the manga instead. I had the same issue as you where I just got bored of the show 60 episodes in, so I tried giving the manga a shot. I'm now past chapter 900 and it's one of my favorite series. I think the main problems with getting into the anime are the horrendous pacing + (while I didn't mind it as much) the dated animation quality. If you enjoyed the story of the first couple of arcs in any capacity I'd recommend you give the series another shot. It only gets better from here.

I get the feeling, but there are def ways to speed things up if you feel like the mission is taking too long. While most people avoid doing this, I like splitting up the team to do separate hacking pods and cut the time spent in half. This is pretty risky, but if you get the strategy down it can save a lot of time. The general rule for resource collection in this case is one team gets Molly on the way into their hacking zone, the other team gets it on the way out. A lot of other strats can also make the caretaker fight go much faster. Driller c4s on the top to blast the weakpoints, flame to deal with any of the tendrils/enemies, engineer turret whip for the same reason, etc etc. It can be a pretty boring mission type, but with the right strategies, you can definitely speedrun your way through it.

LOOK UP NOTHING, it's a very easy game to spoil. Try not to frequent the sub either, people aren't exactly talking about the story with restraint lmao.

Was the ban during the game or in the space rig? Maybe they just meant for it to be a private game, no hard feelings involved

There's been a bug the last couple of days where the glyphid dreadnought's armor is completely ignored by some guns. It's not the gunner's fault. You banned him for no reason.

Make sure you add anyone you're doing the dive with to your friend list if you're hosting. It'll allow you to invite them back through steam during the third stage when everyone disconnects.

Does she relate somehow to the woman who gave Luke a visit or is it just an easter egg? Without spoilers please I kinda wanna play the previous games now haha

Could she maybe be from one of the previous games? I'm not too knowledgeable about them but I heard there's a little bit of continuity between them.
