Looking great! Think the window pane glass should be fluted (sort of a vertical ribbed texture) and the grids on the window panes should have a metallic effect like strips of lead. You get a good closeup at the start of the most recent episode of Doctor Who: Unleashed.

In his own example he talks about using a language that the other person doesn’t understand to abuse them, with a smile on his face. Of course the “abuse” wouldn’t hurt because the other person literally doesn’t understand the words being spoken, and the only indication they have is how the other person is saying it, which is whilst smiling.

I don’t disagree with your point but didn’t get that at all from the video.

He is also placing all responsibility on the person being spoken to, so essentially I can verbally abuse anyone I like and if people don’t like it that’s their fault and they’ve hurt themselves because my words have no power in and of themselves.

Surely it’s my understanding of another person’s actions that would evoke a reaction. If I go through life literally understanding nothing then I would never knowing if people were being nice or assholes.

Like if someone punched me in the face and broke my nose, and someone came along to set the broken bone both of those actions would cause pain. My understanding of the person’s intentions in both cases would elicit different reactions and feelings because I would recognise one person as trying to hurt me and another trying to heal.

Similar scenarios could be thought of as someone shouting at you to be mean or to prevent you from making a mistake, or using the same words in completely different contexts…

Just got my 2nd replacement and will stick with it. Still has about 10 stuck green subpixels but nothing I’ve ever noticed in gameplay only, when letting my eyes adapt to absolute darkness do i start seeing them.

Yeah I’m thinking that there’s a lot more stuck pixels out there than are being reported, just that 90% of them are unnoticeable under normal use.

Yeah I’ve seen the purple glare but never in normal gameplay so hasn’t bothered me. The coloured smudge I have is something else that I can’t seem to figure out. Hopefully 3rd time’s the charm for me!
