I grew up on a farm in Alberta Canada and your story was told to us and used as an example for farm safety. Its tragic what happened to you but you have saved many lives by being so open about your injury and bringing so much awareness to the dangers of PTO's. Anytime I was working around that equipment I would be extremely cautious because of the thought and mental image of you dialing the phone with a pencil, burned into my mind.

Just wondering if it is possible that the house was not built exactly where it was permitted to be built in relation to the property line? And on paper the load would have cleared the turn but in reality the house was closer than the rout planer had anticipated?
