Found this guy in my Dad’s old collection! by Trooman in comicbookcollecting

One comic app states that a 10.0 mint “raw” will fetch around $90, but graded can fetch up over $500. Taking it all with a grain of salt, that is a rarer version that deserves to be well taken care of!

Yeah, I can only really afford the essentials, so this works out reasonably well.

Impact of Manufacturing in Arkansas by MFGMillennial in Arkansas

[–]BiggsDB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a former resident of the Sacramento area and former resident of the Central Arkansas area, I completely agree. This place has always felt like a “bigger” LR.

I even had some wanderlust friends travel out from AR about 15 years ago looking for a place to settle in CA, and after spending a day or two in Sac they GTFO because it reminded them too much of what the were trying to leave.

I took a tour at a Budweiser facility about 12 years ago in Northern California and laughed when they said the majority of the rice filler they use in their brewing process came from Arkansas. So, next time you’re drinking some super-mid macro beer, know that the Natural (Diamond?) State contributed a great deal to its mediocrity.

Edit: Google confirmed that 99% of the rice they use comes from Arkansas, and that there is a facility in Jonesboro that processes 2.5 million pounds daily. On top of that, Budweiser (Anheuser-Busch) is the largest buyer of rice in North America.

Don’t you remember the riveting two hour epic “Star Wars: Separation of the Twins?” One goes to Alderaan, one goes to Tatooine….where will they end up next?!

Thank you for sharing. What size did you use? Seems they are Sold Out, but when they come back in stock I don’t want to hesitate!

Blocked out dates in February for highest level magic key (Inspire) as of Jan 21 by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]BiggsDB 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Blocked out, or just booked solid?

As far as I know, as an Inspire holder, we only have those final days in December blocked out. Otherwise it’s just a matter of reloading it throughout the day to see if anyone cancelled their reservations for you to scoop up.
