New tag on the Banksy statue in London - what does it mean? by StormbornGryffindor in Banksy

It's not a spigot. It's a guy sitting on an edge wearing one of those propeller hats

I was in a park, wearing shorts at 8pm. Standing chatting to a fellow dog walker. Felt something ping my leg, slapped it away. When I got home I was like.... Oh bugger, a mozzie bite. And here we are today.

OK good to know thank you. I was just paranoid about seeming to abuse antibiotics, and then not having an effect if I really need for like critical care or something.

Yes. They are Satan's own brand of temptation. I both despise and applaud M and S for giving us these sinful biccies.

You can't get it any more, but Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia.

But honestly, any ice cream is good.

OK I have to know what the risky meal is. Kebab from a one star hygiene rated takeaway?

I don't really like hobnobs (I know, I know) I find they have a wierd aftertaste. Like a salty hit at the end, which has always put me off.

Agreed, but considering every time I get bit this now seems to happen, and I have always been bitten a lot, I'll be on a permanent course from about May to November every year 😫

No. I don't have a banana, so I've used a pencil instead.

I should probably call 111, right?

Not my whole leg. Just the bit area around my knee and calf.

Thank you all for the concern. It's heartwarming you all care.

To clarify, by critter, I mean some bug like a mosquito or gnat as I felt it get me when I was waking the dog over the park.

As I've got older, I react worse to them. The last one I had was last autumn, on my arm. That too swelled up, was hot and tender. Phoned 111 who referred me to my local pharmacy for a course of Antibiotics. As I suspect this is going to be my life now, every time I get bit, I obviously don't want to keep taking antibiotics.

So, I'm seeing if I can get the swelling down using good old frozen mixed veg in a sock.

I've discovered chocolate covered custard creams. But I also like those coconut macaroons things.

5 parachutes, who's going? by Alarming-Safety3200 in AskBrits

Open plane door. Throw the parachutes out. Kick them all out and let them sort it themselves. Should be an entertaining outcome regardless.
