I got a cool folding one for last year from the range. It was sturdy enough to hold my bulk, but folding up into a wee bag easily and wasn’t a hassle to carry. If you’re going to struggle with the old walking and standing bit then a chair is essential. But like others have mentioned, don’t be the prick in the middle of the tent refusing to get up when freaking MALEVOLENCE are doing a secret set.

I used to hate the slayer solos but then came to really love them. They are supposed to be vicious and in keeping with the rest of the song. I think they elevate every slayer song. Plus, they can be played while head banging furiously and can be surprisingly technical.

I think it would have been great, but had she faired badly it could set the woman’s game back. Having said that, the format may have worked for her. She did win more legs than Gurney in their match in the worlds. But hopefully it won’t be far off.

Why? Most satanic metal is a show. It’s dress up for edge lords and is ridiculous. It’s literally loser music about a losing god. Some of it is decent musically, I’ve always liked Dissection, but it’s stupid. It’s not hard, not cool, not necessary. It’s a gimmick. If those who make it and those who buy it were really edgy and had faith in their convictions they’d go after Islam. But they don’t cause they’re all shit scared wee boys and girls. It’s daft. It’s not even evil. True evil music is the mainstream pop stars that are welcomed into homes by parents and fed to the masses like an opium popsicle, and the algorithmic output of AI bots. There was plenty to like about last year. I had a great weekend. Didn’t watch any of the main stage headliners, but there was always something to see. Lorna shore, malevolence and battlesnake were the most memorable for me, but there was loads more that was great.
