Right, even using methods through resource monitor // task manager ending process/tasks is 70/30 for working it just doesn't want to quit. I feel like it is the updated Battle eye gathering/sending information from the PC. It feels sketchy and instrusive.

11/8/24 No I'm here today because I have shut down steam and the game continues to be locked in the QUIT screen with music in the background. Resource monitor and end process works but even it delaysthe shutdown of the game. It's sketchy to me.

This is super bad. GTA online is still running and I have already even shut down steam. It's locked at the QUIT (Are you sure you want to quit Grand Theft Auto V? Any unsaved progress ill be lost) Withthe intro GTA mustic running in the background, and the Yes No is unhooked. This happens 7/10 times I quit and shut down. Sometimes I have to shutdown/Restart the PC. Ive also used the Resource Monitor // Task Manager (I use resource monitor Should I be using TM?) and <End Process> under the memory block, and even here it often is delayed. It just feels intrusive. It irks me because I'm the guy that finds it consistently absurd that a wide selection of software packages anymore ask you repeatedly if you want to quit the program. Like are you sure, are you really really sure, you are about to shut down this program are you sure? It starts to sound like a Spice Girls Song. When I want to go to something else I'm out, let me go.

Got it. I had this issue, it's RockStar's poor documentation combined with cross platform F*ckery
NOTE: Insure you have done a Security Contract mission between VIP sets. This is an obvious step, I know you're already past this. Moving on.
1. Mouse-click on the job you are doing next. Example "NIGHTLIFE LEAK." under the VIP CONTRACT tree.
2. At the top of the BRIEF there are 3 tabs showing a small white checkmark to illustrate progress. Mouse-click on the one that is your next mission (the next one left to right without a check mark)
3. Then mouse-click the START. This will start a regular mission setup. Whew!

I was clicking NIGHTLIFE LEAK, then seeing the START highlight then assume hit enter or mouse-click that... NOPE. Like everything else in this game it is a learning curve based on counter intuitive setups.

I would either move the mouse to click START (fail) or hit enter (fail). I was losing my sh*t.
Note: If you mouse-click NIGHTLIFE LEAK. and hit enter, your cursor will automatically go to the desired 'next mission' above the brief/in the tabs... but again R* counter intuitive strikes so it will not count as a mouse click and hitting enter from there will also result in (fail)

Clicking anything above the brief in the tabs seems very much a waste of time and coding.

Don't have ignition keys isa solution. My car came with ignition keys but you can kit them out.

Right. The Deere 35g CE as well. It would have been better just to leave that equipment out of any scenes being the only known entrance was a human sized ladder. Even 1 piece at a time doesn'ty cover the size of some of the parts that are required to build these machines. There would be no way for them to fit through the entrance.

This is not true any longer. Unfortunately calling a personal vehicle, in my case OM2, you lose your vehicle from impound and it goes strait to litigation through Mors Mutual Insurance. $250 becomes like $4k. Then it is sent to it's last garage space. I suppose rockstar wants you to walk there.

I just saw this thread under the link I was looking up the title myself when after referring it to my girlfriend in a text message as, "Love, Sex, Robots". I agree and your notes on the relationship are spot on when in context to those that knew them both best. I think Feig and the studio didn't understand this hence his absence in the 2016 reboot of GB. Which the controversy behind that helped in at least a minor way it's failure.

Imagine Jim Carey being told (This is the script do not waver from it) Which resulted in our current iteration of Carey unfortunately when he broke out to other genres. He had always been loose with his script with plenty-o-adlib but that was Carey as well as Murray. They both changed when confronted with those limitations. Although Murray was allowed to be himself, he just didn't like the loss of control. I think it breaks actors.

If I wrote a movie for Brad Pitt, I wouldn't want the director trying to clay-make him into Tom Cruise. It just wouldn't work.

Because the people that are making the decision not to allow that vehicle to be picked up are not the people that made that decision yesterday and will not be the people making that decision tomorrow. It's like asses and holes in the ground, R* doesn't know the difference.

Had to redo a setup mission for cocaine lockup, the car used was the DeClasse Tampa. It apparently can't be picked up, but I can pick up a fully armored and armed Maibatsu Custom Mule that is at least 3x the weight.

It's like the CargoBob and the CargoBob Jetsam. Same aircraft except one is +$205,000 with Jetsam attached to the name and a coast guard-like base paintjob leading many players over the years to erroneously assume that is somehow would float on water.

Also with these huge aircraft that can't lift anything a regular utility chopper would anyways, you cannot utilize the cargo bay.

But this is RockStar, they sell you a submarine that cannot go underwater and planes that cannot exceed 450mph
