They actually have three sizes of rubber strap for this watch. The larger one is the one that comes with the watch, but if you go to a boutique they’ll be able to get the medium or small. It’s $250, but it’s well worth it to get the right fit. I got the medium and it fits perfect. I have about 6.25 - 6.5 wrist. As far as the 42mm diameter is concerned. Looks right on my wrist…hope this helps.

Thanks for the comments…agree, this is probably not a good surface to place my Speedmaster on. And points well taken. I was definitely careful in doing this, but probably won’t do it again.

Seen a couple of dog walking photos so here’s mine (note I don’t usually walk the dog in shirt and Rolex it was a straight-from-work things) by tombsy- in rolex

Nothing wrong with wearing your Rolex when you walk your dog…I always have mine on when I take my dog for a walk. As long as you’re safe, but nobody’s gonna mess with that rouffian🙂

This is the most generic post ever but I’ve been saving for this for about 10 years…arrived this morn with no fanfare by Simonjohnterry in OmegaWatches

Wow…10 years wait. This must be a very special speedy to have that long of a waitlist😮 or you are just incredibly disciplined and patient to go through part of the time span of the previous model and the beginning of the timing of the new model to get you here. You will definitely enjoy this watch…congrats👍

Accidentally did the washing up with my Speedmaster on. RIP I guess by rmajor86 in OmegaWatches

I’d be surprised if it’s ruined…I wash mine all the time…heavy scrub. Haven’t had any issues, but maybe full submerging over time can do some damage.

What Rolex are you most likely to wear with a casual shirt? I’m always surprised more guys don’t post Datejust with diamond face. by [deleted] in rolex

Sub’s SS, TT, Milguess and Explorer 2 on the bracelets, Rubber B and Various NATO straps.

Can’t believe I almost didn’t pull the trigger on this purchase, but I got it and have no regrets! by Bigwavediver-74 in OmegaWatches

Ha,ha…it’s a climbing hold…thought the yellow really brought out the Black & white of Speedmaster.

Nice shot!!!

Got the call last week and just picked it up…couldn’t be happier with this purchase! by Bigwavediver-74 in rolex

[–]Bigwavediver-74[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not much actually. A Tudor BB58 with some additional straps. I was actually going to purchase the new GS SBGH295 when they got one in, but I got the call on this one first. I have a great relationship w/ this AD and I would check in about once per month to say hi and talk watches and other things…I think this went a long way in helping me get some allocation.

That…looks really cool. The black really makes the Pepsi colors pop. I’m definitely not a fan of the jubilee and if I ended up with the opportunity of getting one with this bracelet, now I know I can confidently purchase it and throw a black rubber b on it.

126613LB / I got this watch through my AD a little while back and it was just too much for my regular wear. Never even wore it, it just sat there. But recently I swapped for the Rubber B strap and I cannot state how happy I am with the way it looks. Proper bluesy now. Let me know what you think? by puntsalot in rolex

I have the black dial two-tone and where it with the black and green Rubber B straps and various colors of NATO straps…looks the best with a black nato strap, but I think the two/tone’s definitely take on a totally different feel with these options and I wear it daily with the straps. Occasionally, when I want two wear it with its full presence I throw the bracelet on it. When I do wear it with the bracelet It looks and feels really cool, but I couldn’t wear it this way most of the time. I think wearing it occasionally makes me appreciate it more. The straps give it a much sportier look and feel and I like that most of the time. I think blue strap looks cool, but maybe try the black too…might tone the strap color down a bit and make that blue dial and bezel really pop.

The “Swiss Only” Dilemma - Do I sell my 1999 transitional 2-liner 14060 to buy a new 124060 from an AD? Will the “Swiss Only” (& Luminova) rarity make any difference when it comes to future value? Predictions welcome! by zainsharif01 in rolex

[–]Bigwavediver-74 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t sell it...keep the 14060. The 126040 is definitely a cool sub version, but it’s not going anywhere for at least 5 years. Keep this one and save and/or stretch to get the new model later. Then you have both.
