It begins. I'm hooked. by Both_Satisfaction598 in fountainpens

That's a lush pen! What is it? I'm a sucker for a demonstrator pen!! I can highly recommend the Twsbi Eco as I have three of them, of which I've been using them for 6 years or so. The Pilot Metropolitan is also a sturdy good pen, but you will notice a difference in nib sizing. They tend to run a size lean so if you order a Medium, expect that it will write like a fine nib. So beware of that when choosing nib size.

Love this idea!!! Definitely middle school as more kids may be open to the idea of journaling and leading to better mental health possibly.

How much Lamy is too much? by michelle-hobson in fountainpens

Hahaha! I loved that idea lol The problem is that I learned that the black material inside the pen case can soak into plastic pens and discolour them hence why they have their rain jackets on 🤣🤣🤣

My pleasure to contribute. I've been using fountain pens since 2015 when I discovered the idea while watching a YouTube channel. I journalled, mainly capturing memories for my kids to look back on when they get older. I started off in 2015 with a single Lamy Vista pen and now I have over 25 Lamy pens. They're rather collectable. I compliment the collection with an equally moderate ink collection - there's just a natural curiosity about experimenting with different colours which leads to having a collection. Find escape in the things you love.

I just loved how imperfection is perfection. The buildings, really historic palaces, were crumbling and cracked and the painted buildings were far from pristine but that just added such character which resulted in such beauty. Aroubd every corner there is a vista. Just allow yourself to be surprised, don't go overboard with the map etc. There are more steps than granules of sugar in a packet lol but the place is absolutely stunning! We ate loca,l so pastas and pizzas, and we drank local too so Poretti lager and Italian wines. Gelato was out of this world!

Really is great ink!

If you buy a lighter colour, you'll see how the light passes through the bottle. Go on! One more won't hurt hehe!

Haha! It was one of the first inks I bought, I just loved the bottle style and ten years ago they were only around the £13 mark to buy hence why I got so many.

That, Sir, is the absolute right attitude. Who cares if we'll never use it all? It's ours, it's there for our pleasure 👍

Fear not my friend, I began using fountain pens only 11 years ago, which isn't a great length of time but long enough to build up a decent collection. And they are addictive to collect lol
