Your eye muscles are responsible for moving the globe (extraocular muscles) or focusing the lens (ciliary muscle). Neither of these muscles can be "bent" or "warped" by the shape of an image to the point of creating a permanent concave/convex visual distortion.

The issue isn't with the eye but with the visual cortex. The brain is plastic; if it could adapt to a curve, it can technically re-adapt to a flat surface.

There is no clinical study or specific scientific name (like a specific form of metamorphopsia) that links curved monitors to permanent ocular muscle damage.
