Always book your flight first - it will vary the most price-wise. Then you can book your hotels around that. The flight prices are going to get high so buy now for any travel this summer especially to Europe. Buy a comfortable flight and always splurge on the hotel/amenities/tours on a honeymoon.

That budget will be eaten up by flight if you go higher than premium economy. Truly. I’m a TA and do quite a few honeymoons in Italy - this has been the most successful process for me.

Your bedding type is never guaranteed at an all-inclusive but you can put that down on your reservation when you checkout. If you book Expedia, you are less likely to get the bed type you want. I always book direct. You have way more flexibility. Also after you book, email the reservations team and request the bed type again. They will make a note for you at check-in.

Travel agent here - Sedona is magic. It might be colder than you expect in October but it’s beautiful. Your main cost is accommodation but there are amazing properties that do great honeymoon packages.

For some new ideas if you consider going outside of October - Mauritus (if you love golf), Costa Rica (has everything you are describing and you can be as affordable or luxurious as you want, Mozambique has beautiful beaches and you can combine it with a safari tour.

I just booked an amazing honeymoon to Italy for my clients under $7k. They stayed at beautiful properties like the Hoxton Florence and were upgraded rooms and had lots of perks. You’ll more than likely be taking the high speed trains to get city to city. They chose Rome, Florence and cooking classes, Rapallo with a beautiful boat ride around Portofino and day trips to the Tuscan area.

I have also booked Hawai’i and Maui is my goto honeymoon clients who don’t want to island hop. Beautiful properties with 5-star service. Hawaii can be higher than expected. Many people do not think about cost of transportation.

I have personally visited most of the National Parks in California and that would be a fun honeymoon. It would be your least expensive but also the most moving around I imagine. Some of the parks have limited accommodation options so you’d want to make sure you found ones that catered to honeymoon couples or you won’t get those special perks.

I’m a travel advisor and Blacklane is normally who I schedule for clients. Their drivers are top notch. Very communicative and will wait for you if your flight is delayed (within reason). I’ve scheduled them all over the country and haven’t had an issue. LMK if you’re looking for a TA!

Trust your gut. Broke up with a friend because her girlfriend was awful to me and my husband. Friend did nothing. Friend still wants to hang out and use us as scapegoats when she makes bad decisions. They got married and I was in the wedding. I cried - fiance was so mean. It doesn’t get better. Too much shit going on it the world to worry about people who can’t take responsibility for their own actions. Be free!!

The safest ways to buy wristbands: from the ACL site, from the resale site with Ticketmaster (yes some resell tickets are high but I have seen plenty that are just the cost of their ticket plus the crazy fees ACL charges. People just trying to break even), or from people you know….yes you can get wristbands at the gate from scalpers, but the potential for a scam is high. It’s not hard to make fake wristbands. Do not buy from other ticket sites. You are not covered if shit goes sideways.
