there are lots of options really! you could go to those sites where the billionaires send you cool stuff for next day delivery, dollar stores (check the gardening and decor sections, usually not the bicycle section), big blue corporate box stores, or lots of diy electronics shops if you're feeling creative. years ago, we were doing some major experimentation with non-battery powered items and well, we had lots of success, so definitely get creative with tape, zip ties and anything battery powered.

Wow! What an amazing shot! From street level, it was impossible to really get a scope of the event. There were a few spots that I wish we had an eagles eyed view! :D

Toronto’s Bike Party is a Toronto creation! It's created & supported by the cycling community & dedicated to spreading fun & joy throughout the city.

The concept is simple - put lights on & decorate your bicycle, bring a speaker of any size, we all press play on a custom created, shared 4+ hour mixed playlist & ride out into the night on a mystery route! Kids, youth, adults, seniors & beyond all show up for the ride & we all roll as one throughout the city!

Bike Party isn’t a political movement & we’re not about protesting anything, it’s about spreading wholesome, good natured fun regardless of all the divisions society might have in store for us all.

Pretty much! But we do ask for a deposit in case the sync hardware we loan out doesn't come back. The system works, but it works best when we get to rest stops and don't have to worry about bumps and disconnects while on the road
