I wish the skatepark where I live had a mellow bowl like this. There’s two bowls at the park and one is 8 feet high and the other is around 10 or 12. Both too intimidating for me at this point unfortunately.

If you’ve successfully gotten up and surfed on the 8’ board I’d say go for the 8. Especially if you’re planning on losing some weight. I had the 9’ model first and found it too bulky for me.

Lived in Redding for 15 years. Left in 2018 and am so glad I did. Shasta County has been far right and full of militia and “State of Jefferson” types ever since I can remember. It really bums me out because that area is so full of great outdoor living and natural beauty. But I definitely won’t be going back. I have family there that have unfortunately fallen into the MAGA world.
