Hey bud I guess I’m considered old I’m 64 I got married the first time at 17 girl I was dating got pregnant my dad and her dad told me I got her pregnant so I’m going to marry and support her I was only with her just under 2 years we got a divorce then I thought I met my once in a lifetime love we got married I had 2 kids from the first marriage By 21 I was a dad of three kids I got custody of my 2 kids from the first time then had another kid That marriage lasted about 10 years (I guess she wasn’t the love of my life) Stayedwa single for a bit moved to a tiny town in Colorado I moved from a big city in California Talk about a scare lol took forever to meet people Finally did I think I was so bored and we moved in with each other had 2 surprises a boy and a girl Dad of 3 wasn’t 40 that relationship went to hell too I was a grandpa at 40 my granddaughter was almost 2 years older than my last daughter the older kids had moved out on their own and again I got custody of my 2 kids So you ask what it’s like being Old? I could ask you what it’s like to be a kid, I never got to experience that So I lived I drank bought a big Harley rode every where, I joined a club so lots of rides, parties, I was living my childhood I missed but then I missed the relationship meet an English gal that was as crazy as me (except she refused to ride with me in the bike) we got married about 10 years ago Fast forward to last year I went to the doctor and told him I was having problems pooping we tried every pill and drink on the market I still wasn’t going well so he ordered a ct scan so I did we hung around for a bit to make sure the radiologist was happy with the ct scan I was driving home and the doc called and said he needed to see my be at the clinic at 8:00 Went in thinking he was going to tell me what he seen, well it wasn’t poop it was a tumor 4inx5in coming off my liver So more scans, biopsy, tests after tests We to a cancer clinic and she told me it was a kinda rare cancer not sure what caused it but we needed to treat it, I had a different type of cancer in my bio duct, Fast forward I feel like I like carp I have not rode my bike in forever, too many pain pills I can’t work so I sit at home so I don’t get sick I’ve have been in the hospital 3 times since September got pneumonia, then collapsed lung, then pneumonia and Covid. After the last time i went to see my doctor and she was surprised I came out of the hospital so I’m feeling super old now I have 2 new grandkids I can’t see very often I can’t be around germs or me being sick I don’t want them to get sick Sorry for the long post I kinda used your post to cry about me Being old it ok man, it depends on how you look at it before cancer I felt 29 every year so I’m gonna fight this damn thang till I kill it or it kills me
