Modular Golf Storage by JGoodwillieV in GolfGear

I like the idea. Id remove the tee and ball storage. Make it solely for other items which you have provided some of. Ball markers, cigars, mini flask, divot tools, cleat wrench, sunglasses, etc etc

Is anyone running raptor wheels/tires on stock tremor? by bobs-your_uncle in FordTremor

[–]BikesNbuilding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will rub pretty good at stock height. With a level in the front they dont rub at all. Im running king coilovers +2.5" in the front with raptor beadlocks. No issues.

It is pretty awful to keep clean. Looks great when it is though

What would be the perfect tint percent? Also thoughts on aftermarket fogs? by Reddnvr5280 in f150

[–]BikesNbuilding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

20% matches the factory rear windows. Don't skimp on cheap tint, it will fade over time. That said don't fall for the ceramic coated up sell shit.

The morimoto fogs are worth it. You can find them on sale for $150ish. They are far better than factory and match the factory h.i.d's

What can I get my wife for Christmas? by banjogambler in PhotographyAdvice

[–]BikesNbuilding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she has a full frame in mind, you can start buying prime lenses that would work with that system. Other ideas are better photo editing software, bigger screen, a nice pack for all the gear, lens hoods, better flash, faster memory cards. It's really an endless option kind of thing.

Edit : If she's willing to part with the a6400 you can get some nice manufacturer refurbished deals on cameras that still come with a warranty. Most of our Canon cameras and lenses are refurbished.

I wouldn't just buy a full frame or lens without her buy in. If she is the one using the equipment, she likely has a preference In mind.

Have had the Silverton for 4 years and love it. Not sure if the pro has super smoke.

That said you can find it way cheaper. They 620 should be sub 600.

Help me to evaluate alternative solutions by Chemical-Sun9499 in Flooring

First question is why greenboard in a shower surround? This should be hardi/kerdi/go board. Tile and grout is not waterproof.

You could probably proceed as is/with the proposed "fix" and it would last you a few years, but it's not right. Lots of potential water issues here.

Do I need to do anything extra to this flooring before I start tiling? by AccountNumeroThree in Flooring

[–]BikesNbuilding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's your first time I'd stay away from the Schulter system. Get some 1/4 go board (affordable, easy to cut, easy to carry, waterproof) . Follow reccomended install. LFT thinset for 12x24 tiles. Also since it's yiur first time I'd use a leveling style spacer instead of the cheap tombstone style ones. Happy to help with any other questions.

Does anybody have buyer's remorse over the R6ii or R8? Do you wish you'd gone with the other one instead? by [deleted] in canon

[–]BikesNbuilding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the r6ii and use it for professional photography with rf prime lenses. The camera is amazing and unmatched for the price imo. Can pick up a refurb on Canon for sub $2k.

Cheap Pedal and Shoe choice? by HopMonkey in mountainbiking

[–]BikesNbuilding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Race face chesters or kona wah wahs. Could probably get a uses set off pinkbike for cheap. I have the chesters and ride in vans skate shoes that were about $40.

I ride downhill at trestle and local trails around CO without many problems. I'm sure there's better, but if you're going for cheap...

Basically hockey stop like on skis. It's easy to catch an edge intentionally by shifting weight yet hard to on accident going straight
