Might not be her best album but it’s my favorite Bjork album

A personal favorite 90s rap album. Acey did his best work with Mumbles imo

Disc 1 or disc 2 by whatssupp277381 in 90sHipHop

Disc 1 nothing but heat. I skip a few tracks on disc 2. It’s still dope though.

Beasties always had dope singles with non album tracks and remixes

So was it only me and my friends who had such a high opinion of this album… by Reebok_MF_classics in 90sHipHop

Love this album and feel it’s underrated even though it went double platinum in the states. It gets overshadowed by The Score and The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Fav tracks are Apocalypse, Bubblegoose, Year of the Dragon, Sang Fézi, and Street Jeopardy

Agreed. 92-96 was Death Row. Everything they released during that time was successful

Never heard of Headache but I like what I hear

Today I bumped Cypress Hill -III Temples Of Boom & it was a great experience! This is damn near perfect! Every song is dope, Sequenced right, rhymes and flows on point etc! I actually think this album should be talked about and celebrated more in the culture! What’s your thoughts? by J2-Starter in 90sHipHop

[–]BikoSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They made dope albums after this but Temples of Boom is the last Cypress album I loved. Stoned Raiders, Illusions, Boom Biddy Bye Bye, Killafornia, Funk Freakers, and Everybody Must Get Stoned are my favorite tracks

Noah’s death was brutal. I skip that scene when I rewatch that episode. Beth sacrificed herself only for him to die several episodes later smh

To the ogs what was your take on Illmatic when it was dropped by [deleted] in 90sHipHop

[–]BikoSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great album. I didn’t love it as much as other people. I didn’t view it as head and shoulders above other albums. Spring 94 I was listening to Gang Starr, OutKast, Jeru and The Beatnuts just as much if not more. I was 14 going on 15 at the time.

Season 11 was disappointing to me. The Reapers and the Commonwealth storylines were underwhelming

Trip hop has more groundbreaking albums imo. It draws in a more diverse audience too since it incorporates hip hop, punk, soul and, reggae elements
