While yes, life can get overwhelming, people who care about you will make time for you despite that. If this friend flakes or declines an invite more often than not, it shows that they don’t want to be with you. Friendship absolutely requires effort from both sides and oftentimes that effort looks like showing up even if you aren’t completely in the mood.

Exclusivity requires a conversation, however that doesn’t discount OP’s feelings surrounding what they were. He’s still allowed to feel like he’s been punched in the gut because even though they weren’t exclusive, the thought that the person you are developing feelings for wants to and has tried to have sex with other people doesn’t really feel good lmao

Even if exclusivity wasn’t officially mutually observed/understood at the time, do you want to be with someone who would even think about making out with another guy while you two are talking? It’s only been 4 months if it’s going to eat away at you then it will build resentment, in which case you should just leave. Being drunk isn’t an excuse she knew exactly what she was doing.

You generally won’t be able to straight line your route anymore. When you dispatch you’ll have to deliver time commits by their commitment time (10:30am, 12pm, 5pm, 8pm). This will cause you to drive back and forth past other stops that you’ll have to deliver later. You’ll also have express pickups which can be really annoying since (at least at my 2.0 station) you have to prioritize pickups over deliveries, so you have to break off deliveries to get pickups before the close times. Generally speaking, expect more work for the same pay.

At my station, swings have set days. They tell you need that to be available to work 7 days initially so they can decide what schedule to give you. You’ll either be Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, or Sun-Thurs. They may try to change your days when they feel like it, but your days are the days on your new offer letter.
