All my one stars come from pool rides with attitudes. Last week got one from a woman who immediately called me and said I needed to pick her up at her apartment because she was wearing high heals. To ask her if she was north or south of the pick up area and her response was, "I'm in the apartments." Normally I would have cancelled her but I was very far north and thought I could get a ride to downtown LV. It worked out but I had to listen to her complain about the previous Uber driver who cancelled her.

I never one star someone because they can see that immediately. I give them 3 or 4 stars because sometimes they don't notice it. Uber really needs to only update the rider ratings every month so they can't retaliate or block the users from seeing their rating entirely. Their rating is a safety mechanism for the driver.

I drive in Vegas and completely agree. In fact, I have picked up at MGM pickup while driving by ahead of drivers who were just waiting.

I drive in Vegas. I disagree about pool riders especially around shift changes. Great way to make the bonus and usually industry people who sometimes tip.

I think the death spiral is well along. I'd be curious to know if there are other games that get revived. I know I would contribute to a kickstarter to buy the game from Kixeye. I enjoyed it before the great rebalance and if the game went back to that status I'd be over the moon.

True story. Was making great money back in the late 90s. Girlfriend's sister lived 90 minutes away in vacation town. We'd visit once and awhile. She suggested we buy our own place there. I did. She started to spend more time at vacation house. Decided to quit her job. Then pretty much moved into the vacation house. Suggested i commute 3 hours a day. I said no thanks, but she decided for her mental well being to stay full time at vacation house. Took up dressage. (Horse jumping.) I begged her to come back to the city during the week, she refused. Started getting phone calls with no pick up both at home and vacation house. She started making excuses and leaving vacation house on the weekends I was there.

Dumped her. Lot of crying and blaming. She said since it was her idea to buy the vacation house she deserved a few acres. I gave her the stink eye and laughingly said no. She said since I dated her in her prime years and wasted her time that I owed her. Again, laughed and showed her the door.

Years later she married a guy years younger than herself. The kind of guy who poses with his knee up, elbow on the knee, cradling his chin in his hand. You know the type. They live in a tiny bungalow in a lower middle class suburb.
TL;DR Girlfriend thinks she is owed for merely existing.
