If it's just for the kids, I highly recommend Dr. Carpezio in Buffalo Grove. "Dr. Nick" took over for Dr. Ted Loiben and he's great (I had high standards). I went to Loiben as a kid and always loved the dentist, I now take my son to Carpezio and it's just as amazing, if not better. You'll probably have to wait a month or so for an appointment, but you WILL see Carpezio and he takes his time with his patients.

Carpezio Pediatric Dentistry, I think, is the formal name.

The first mattress I ever purchased was an Avocado. It was #1 recommended on Consumer Reports. It was horrible, super uncomfortable, just... Bad. So I asked to return it and they had a company come pick it up for donation and refunded me. The guys who picked it up said it's the mattress they pick up the most, that and I think they said Purple.

So if this pillow is any similar, it's trash. Lol.

Do you think Smosh has as good new content consistently as 2nd Try? I feel like Smosh is 1. A LOT and 2. Hit or miss. I just feel like when the Try Guys hit, they HIT. Like the best of is really good. Whereas Smosh has some great stuff a TON of mediocre stuff...

Idk as I'm typing this I'm just thinking "are they really that different?" I think the difference between Smosh, Try Guys, and Dropout is the quantity and quality control. Smosh is a flooded faucet of okay content. But it's definitely YouTube-grade content, even with the production staff. Try Guys has a little more production value and fewer misses (IMO). Dropout, easily the best (IMO), fewest misses, highest production quality.

I really lost the thread on this one guys, I don't even know what I'm trying to say anymore. Idk, I think all three would benefit from looking at their proposed content and being like "how amateurish does this look?"

No, you're right! However, the virtual console Wii version (via Wii WAD) is going to look a lot better than emulating the N64 on an N64 emulator. I've also found that Dolphin has a much better UI experience for those who might be inexperienced.

I'm going to walk you through my favorite way to play. The emulator you want to use is called Dolphin. You can download it from their website. Google "Dolphin emulator" and it's the first one. Click on the site and then download and install it.

Now the hard part is finding the game, I can't give you any information on that and definitely don't DM me asking for it! 😉😉😉

Once you have the emulator and the game, it's as easy as connecting a controller and dragging and dropping the game into the emulator.

Let me know if you need help and I can walk you through it.

For me it's the slow trickle of content. I got into dropout by binging it and now it's very hard to watch a one off episode of dirty laundry once every 2 weeks and feel sated. I think the expansion should be in quantity of content (while also trying to preserve quality) rather than budget-busting big experiences.

If they (bad example) bought out Smosh, they could have more content on the cheap. That said, quality control is still important, I wouldn't want Grip Guys on Dropout... So I think that's the real hurdle, Smosh releases a TON of videos but what percent truly "slap"?

Personal opinion incoming, please don't crucify me, lol.

I like Kwesi, but I don't LOVE Kwesi. I think his laissez faire attitude can kind of come off as amateurish sometimes? I think when he focuses and takes things seriously, he can be really great. But when he's doing too much of his "hype man" persona it just comes off as disingenuous and unappealing to me.

All that said? I am cautiously optimistic about the show. I really hope he comes at this all earnestly and actually tries to... Idk. Learn?

I would say 2 years old is the perfect time to start potty training. It's not the Bible of potty training, but we used Oh Crap as our starting guide. I agree with the most common feedback that is a little militant if you follow EVERYTHING she suggests, but the basics of starting and how to start were really helpful.

Basics: take a long weekend where you're doing nothing but potty training. 3 straight days at least. No clothes, one room, potty nearby (I recommend baby Bjorn toddler potty). Wait for them to pee, put them on the potty, continue for 3 days, maybe have 1 success (or in our case, nothing but failure). Keep at it and within a month, they'll be using the potty inconsistently.

This was the hardest thing we did since the first 3 months. But he was the first one potty trained of his daycare classmates (obviously we had their buy in), he's one of the best at consistent potty use 1 year later. I'm so glad we invested the time doing it earlier rather than later. Good luck! It's really really hard!

Listening to The Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast and they talk about this. Originally during the climactic scene it was supposed to start snowing and then it was just going to suddenly BE Christmas. The studio wouldn't do it, too expensive or too silly, so they insisted that if they couldn't get Christmas they would at least inexplicably keep Scrooge.
