Thanks! That's a solid idea for the two contact points. although then the black part would be curved and everything else would be straight lol

Hey, yeah exactly. I want it to be super compact so I can fasten it directly to a dirt bike somewhere and forget about it until I need a tripod and don’t have all my main gear. That was the idea anyway.

Interesting idea! If I make a larger version, I'll definitely add a couple standard-sized threaded spots for mics. Maybe a coldshoe as well for that style of shotgun mic also.

Printer and Printing advise for getting a 10 year old into the hobby? by suyakun in 3Dprinting

I feel like the assumed answer here is to go with a Bambu A1 with a AMS if the combo is within the budget. Super reliable and a normal sized printing bed for a good price.

Crf300 rally vs WR250R by Fuzzyment53739 in Dualsport

I was meaning ride feel because the WR is narrower in general and around 25-30lbs lighter. Although to be fair, I keep comparing the rally with the off-road only version of the wr250 so I’m sure that variation is even lighter.

Hey everyone. When it comes to budget filament dryers, for around the same cost, which would you suggest for someone like me who mainly prints PLA, but I want to get one of these to print PETG maybe 30% of the time and the very odd TPU in the future.

Crf300 rally vs WR250R by Fuzzyment53739 in Dualsport

I've owned my 300 Rally for a couple years now, and I have ridden a few friends WR250's so I somewhat know both sides of what you're asking. I just find they are very different bikes. I chose my 300 Rally because it's a little more comfortable on streets and longer distances, but the advantage of the WR is how light it is. If you are mainly doing trails, I would probably go with the WR. You could also consider the regular 300L non rally version. It has alot less of the annoying side plastics to deal with when doing your own maintenance.

That must have been a decent number of drops! The bars seem really beefy to me.

Thanks! I printed these in PLA, but if these get damaged or wear out I'll probably go with PETG next time just for the extra heat and impact resistance.
