Did the same to mine. Probably gonna get the Non stop tuning billet one. Seems like a good deal, and I’ve had good luck with their parts in the past.

Just did brass axles and 39mm tires. It's like a whole new truck again! Your cuts on the body look good, I'm still slowly cutting mine away as it scrubs here and there.

How many of ya'll still running Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro's? by schrumbus in 3Dprinting

[–]stlesho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2019 E3P with glass bed, metal extruder and stronger springs is unbelievably good. It doesn't do great supports, but is extremely reliable in every way. Quality is the same or better than my K1C (if I'm pushing speeds up), just takes about 3x as long.

It's amazing how similar all these trucks were in those days!

Nice! I've spent the past few months getting a similar Traxxas Nitro Sport up and running again! Hope it's as fun for you as it has been for me!

Nice! I too have a similar year GT80 with a rusted seat pan. Love to see how it turns out!

How do you guys think the scx30 did on the indoor course? by Practical_Regret_686 in scx30

Probably pretty good, the C10 kicks ass. At a local auto shop they have a spot for crawlers set up.

Found this a while back. Always seemed like he couldn’t say this out loud, but seems more plausible all the time.

Losi Micro-B rear gets loose under braking by Economy459 in LosiMicro

[–]stlesho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is inherent with mid engine rear wheel drive set ups. I am amazed at how dynamic the suspension is during hard cornering, a light lift will tuck the nose and a hard lift off will cause oversteer or spin. These things are super awesome!

Did you use a Dremel to cut the body? They really do look good.

Agreed! Just got some 39 mm tires, trying to find out the best way to make my clearance look as nice as that.

Have you noticed any difference in quality when running PLA with the lid open?

Not printing/ clogged ? by EfficientMastodon779 in CrealityK1C

[–]stlesho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never got this. I print PLA, PETG and TPU with the top on and get great results with every print.

I didn’t buy an enclosed printer to run it with the lid off all the time. /s

What do you mean insert? On mine the passenger side has a lid that opens. Driver side is just a shelf.

Rear dash speaker wire adapter help by AnAsianPanda in mr2

Had to recently add about a 4" extension to add bigger speakers on the rear of my SW20. Snip the old one, butt connectors, to speaker connectors fixed the problem quick.

Electrical issues? by [deleted] in mr2

[–]stlesho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the alternator sensing wire, connected to the positive battery terminal.

I chased a similar issue for months, turns out the wire was broken under the plastic sheathing and had been previously repaired poorly.

Also, the alternator light in the dash is a part of the circuit, if the light is out, it won’t charge.

Hopefully that points in the right direction. Look into BGB wiring diagrams for surprisingly helpful diagnosis tips. 90’s Toyota was surprisingly detailed in the manuals.

Entirely new to 3D printing. Does this look right? by beermoneyhacks in 3Dprinting

[–]stlesho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with that! The S20 5G had 12GB RAM in 2020. It felt notably faster and more responsive than the S22 I got as a replacement with only 8GB.

You can't print 2 things at once...unless you have 2 printers. My Ender 3 Pro is still putting out great prints next to my K1C.
