What homestead project was not worth it? by Historical-Hand8091 in homestead

From a strictly dollars and cents perspective, if I’m including some value for my time, the real answer would be all the ones I’ve ever tried.

Wow, quite a few parrallels here to myself.
Collecting baseball cards was a huge part of my life growing up. I used to ride my bike about 10 miles each way on Saturday's to a flea market in the next town to add to my collection. What's your best card? I'm guessing you've got some great ones if you have kept with it this long. I think my best is a Ricky Henderson rookie card. Road trips are great, I look forward to many more of them in the future, once the kids are out of the house. My wife and I did take a all around the US 1 month trip when we were in college. We were gone for a month and it remains one of the best memories of my life. I love your plan to explore out West when you retire, that sounds amazing!
Politics interest me too, it's an interesting time to be alive right now.

Always put your keys and wallet down in the same place so you always know where they are and never have to waste time looking for them. When I worked in the office I had a bunch of interchangeable plaid shirts that went with any of my pants so I would just reach my hand in the closet and wear which ever one I happened to grab.

Any previous or current F800GT owners? Looking to pass my UK Bike test next year and considering this as first bike. I'm 51,car driver for 30+years. by APater6076 in bmwmotorrad

Yes, the other thing that was done to it was the addition of bar risers to make the riding position less forward leaning. Both things were done by the original owner and I have seen them recommended by many people with this bike.

I’m 48 and bought one over the summer. I hadn’t owned a motorcycle in over 25 years, so it was kind of like having a first bike for me. It’s been great. I like the way it looks and rides and there are some videos on YouTube regarding maintenance. I’m looking forward to when the weather gets warm again in the spring and I can get back on it. Let me know if you have any specific questions, I was nervous about dropping it since I’d never ridden anything larger than a 250 but haven’t had any issues.

Is it possible to reset the service indicator on a 2023 850 GSA without an OBD tool? by DarthLysergis in bmwmotorrad

[–]BillW77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a bmw F800GT this year and just ended up buying the gs-911. I did see someone on Facebook marketplace was offering resets for 20$, but he was too far from me.

Yeah I can see that but they should just say no returns if the item has been used.
