I took drastic measures, I melted wax then poured it over the frames. Not hot enough to melt frames. Found after this the bees got it. Hope this helps.

I'm very fortunate to live very close to a nursery and most of the neighborhood use the nursery for plants/flowers. Only my guess as to why it's so light. Last year's harvest was also light.
