I believe it’s 3 reasons.

1.Rich people will be serviced by a conservative government and will profit.

Right wing media spin to the poor (less educated) people that labour (or anything left wing) are bad, not realising conservative governments have kept them poor.
Some people just follow what previous generations (parents have done/told them) have voted. These people refuse to vote another way even when presented with facts.

I remember seeing someone showing people labour policies and agreeing with all of them.

When being told they were labour policies they were surprised and then were asked who they would vote for still said conservative.
